Not too sure. Can understand the thinking.I’d take a year of James Milner
How many games has he played this year and hows he performed?

Andy Robertson? He's rumoured to be heading to Celtic.Robertson potentially? Him or Chilwell would be good for LB
Thats some call! How dare you make an outrageous claim of him playing within one of the top 3 leagues in England. Should add Championship to your prediction tooIt wouldn’t surprise me either way if in 5 years time Esse is playing in the Premier League or League 1. He’s got all the talent on the ball, but the decision making just isn’t there. It’s why Glasner booted him to us and why Sakamoto is starting ahead of him.
I’d probably look elsewhere in the summer although it might be worth the gamble if the coaching team think they can improve him.
Fairly obvious I would say. We have a strict pay structure in place (the ceiling will increase in the prem) and we don't want to raise the expectations of the rest of the squad.Chilwell is a friend of FL and it was rumoured FL sees him as being part of the coaching team. I don't get this issue of not paying people, if we sign a player for 12 million and has a salary of 25,000 per week, why if the player comes for a few million, or even free, can't we sign them with a 50,000 a week deal? Wilder has always done that at Sheff Utd and apart from this season it has worked. I really think in some cases, like Chilwell, it is worth it especially as he can coach the defence.
Played more than you would think, started 4 of the last 6.Not too sure. Can understand the thinking.

The wage budget would double for the Prem I'd imagine.Fairly obvious I would say. We have a strict pay structure in place (the ceiling will increase in the prem) and we don't want to raise the expectations of the rest of the squad.

I predict that KKH will either be in the Prem, Championship or L1 in 5 years.you’re so annoying
Not something you can say for every player though is it. Like I’d be surprised if KKH ends up in league 1 in 5 years.

Which is probably about right. It sounds like King would look to bring in 5-6 first team players based on his interview, IMO.
I think he would be a good signing tbh.I’m not saying him specifically but someone like Jacob Murphy should be the type we look at
He's got potential, but I'd be concerned about an upper mid-table French side loaning him out rather than using him this year. If he's not ready for Ligue 1, he's probably not ready for the Premier League just yet.I think Jordan James could be a smart pick up
Are we going to sign many ready made premier league players though is my questionHe's got potential, but I'd be concerned about an upper mid-table French side loaning him out rather than using him this year. If he's not ready for Ligue 1, he's probably not ready for the Premier League just yet.
I guess he probably is a potential one to look at given we're getting Onyeka if we're promoted. Wouldn't be a requirement to play every minute of every game. Are we going to sign many ready made premier league players though is my question
Based on 5 or 6 first team signings, what would we go for?
GK
LB
CB
CM (Onyeka)
RW
ST
Then probably a couple of younger development players.

Would be a good mix of experience, youth, and surprise.

Yeah sorry mate I had Josh in my headJacob
Which is what I said we should do back in november. I'm always right! It sounds like King would look to bring in 5-6 first team players based on his interview, IMO.
I may be out of touch with what constitutes vfm in the prem then. I think he’s gonna be good though.I'm not joining the Esse knocking as i think he's a good talent for his age, but that's not true. £10 million is a good amount for a first year Prem side who would have to get most their signings absolutely bang on to stand even half a chance.
Not 104 no. But we'd probably get close to the 100 matk this season with a striker who was powerful and had a great shot conversion rate.
Defensively we're the best side in the league, with Ipswich now a conceded goal behind having played a game less. Midfield we can play around most sides in the league, that's not where our problems lie?
Up front is where the issue is and it's glaringly obvious. Part down to striker's positioning ability, part down to finishing ability. Can you imagine someone of Vipotnik's ilk with that shot Conway had against yourselves at our place? Can you imagine him yesterday with the shots presented to Strelec and/or Browne? Along with plenty of other games where our just slamming it in the net has been the one area that let's us down?
We'll probably get somewhere between 82-88 points this season. Just having a decent finisher in the tight games or games that needed putting out of reach so the late hopeful burst from our opponents doesn't affect us points wise would be worth about another 12 - 15 points over the course of the whole season.
Of course he could get injured and/or get rested at some point, we'd expect him to miss half a dozen games on average, that's football, and we'd also be wise to take him off as soon as a game was put to bed.
He started with promise but looks less dangerous going forward but safer in defensive situations in every game. Unfortunately there is some sort of contractual agreement with Palace to give him game time, I think that could have been a mistake but anyway he has at least scored 2 goals in 13 appearances, I think there will be more.I'd definitely qualify his time here so far as pretty disappointing. His performances have regressed week on week since he joined.
Wouldnt mind him. Scored a good goal at the weekendTaken with a pinch of salt, but....
