There's more creases to iron out in a deal like this. His wages were too high. Weve not got an infinite amount of transfer money. We did try. We kept all our key players.

Ok, that links to the London Standard report that doesn't actually say there is a stumbling block. If you click on the link it just takes you to the story that says talks have slowed.

Is the Dan Neil to Ipswich move a straight loan? If so you can say deals like that are easier to make. We did 2 early in the window.
