I said exactly the same thingSigning someone in a position that seemed totally unnecessary actually has me pretty positive we're signing players in more necessary positions also. Don't let me down Doug.

Nah. No acceleration and turning circle of a bus.We need to sign that very big Centre Back "Harry Shaw"

Defensive coach. Very negative. Always getting teams to park the bus.Didn't he retire and take up coaching?

Weren’t we after this guy this time last season?
There used to be a character on the Fast Show, his wife would send him out with a shopping list and he'd come back with the complete opposite . Maybe DK has become that character .I would put any of our current squad ahead of Markelo. Brau on paper is far more experienced. At 23 he seems too old to be a project.
Well that's cool, because Norwich have a bad attitude..Yes and I think he went to Ryton and Lampard was not overly impressed by his attitude so we didn't pursue a deal.

Can't tell if you're taking the pissHave we signed someone?
I've just seen something on YT?
Mekela?
He looks brave too and tries to take his man on but the reality is the Swiss league isn't as competitive as the Championship let's see how he finds it. I definitely think there's potential from his highlights and looks calm and assured picking good passes or crosses.Never know with those highlight reels but bloody hell the lads rapid,
1-1-8 formation

That’s the problem, esse was always going to slot straight in, haven’t got time to hope they do like Yang, hopefully see what he can do against OxfordHe looks brave too and tries to take his man on but the reality is the Swiss league isn't as competitive as the Championship let's see how he finds it. Boro confirm they have scouted Lassine Sinayoko but have ruled themselves out this window in The Gazette. I live in Teesside and pals at work Boro fans have not been overly impressed with the link. Which leaves us and Wolves, oh and Birmingham City

Definitely seems so.Is it me, or is this January window more manic than usual in The Championship?
The Birmingham, Wrexham factor has definitely increased the activity, coupled with the FOMO element re: play offs/autos.Maybe it’s not the transfer window that’s more manic…
Those 2 know they need to get up before EFL PSR catches up with them so they'll spend now and hope they can run fast enough,The Birmingham, Wrexham factor has definitely increased the activity, coupled with the FOMO element re: play offs/autos.
Might just be me then! The Birmingham, Wrexham factor has definitely increased the activity, coupled with the FOMO element re: play offs/autos.
I think our starting 11 early season was pretty much enough but injuries and too many under performers now it's clear we need another cm who can do an actual job, because torp is not capable.Surely the whole point of a transfer window is to make the starting XI better, not just pad out the bench. Look at the business we’ve done, both in the summer and January. Almost every player we’ve brought in feels like backup. On a good day, most of them still wouldn’t get into the strongest lineup. Rushworth aside, are we honestly saying Woolfy, KKH, Mini, Brau or now Markelo would be first-choice? Because I don’t see it. There’s been some chat about Esse, but from what we’ve actually seen so far he’s decent going forward and pretty much anonymous defensively. And defending is a massive part of how our wingers are supposed to play. You can’t just ignore that side of the game. So after all those moves, are we actually any better off than we were before? I’m struggling to see it.
Disgraceful. Talk about an overreaction. Is it a coincidence that it's the same people who 24 hours ago were whinging and complaining that Doug won't pay for any transfers, that are now whinging and complaining about signing a player because it's not the one they want. We all know we need a CM as minimal. We have 5 days to still achieve that minimum. Becoming so spoilt we can't even get excited about signing a young winger for still one of our highest ever transfer fees. It's disgraceful really.
It is. If someone complained about us making a 4 million signing not even 5 years ago, you'd call them an idiot. We couldn't even imagine we would do such a thing. Now people are saying it's a waste before the guys even been seen on the training pitch. It's embarrassing entitlement. Sign of the modern age sadly.Disgraceful. Talk about an overreaction.
