He's been unsettled for months. One of those guys that's great when the going is good, not so great when he had to dig deep, it's a shame as he has all the right attributes to make it to the top.
who’s he off to fred and how much for?

Losing patience with Wright myself but am not going to write him off and call him all the names under the sun as that is just counterproductive. May need taking out of the firing line tomorrow and coming on for 20 minutes or so at the end if needed.

I have been critical of Haji in recent posts. I'm actually regretting that and it's generally better to encourage and support players.

I hope he can score/ put in a good performance today. Good luck Haji today.

Both Haji and Simms like to run onto a ball - this has been lacking in the last few games - when this improves they will both start scoring again witness Simms goal against Charlton

Yeah it was very much a Wright style finish but taken with the other peg?

Offered us nothing but was brought on in difficult circumstances to be fair to him.

Had a shot straight at a defender and fucked about a bit.

Actually I don’t, he’s just shite.

Genuinely like playing with 10 (and then 9) men.

He’s scored more goals for us than most who have played for us in the post war era

I mean seriously can this thread be taken down,

The lack of respect for a player who is in the top 10 scorers we’ve had in the modern era is a pretty damning indictment on some of our thick as fuck fanbase

Quoted the post 40 mins ago, then poo’ed the same post 10 mins ago. Desperate for a bit of attention?

It’s a really admirable feat, but as I’ve articulated before, if he isn’t scoring he adds nothing. Today he honestly looked so devoid of confidence and unsure what to do, it was sad to see.

Not saying he can’t come back from it, and for the sake of our promotion ambitions I really hope he does.

Of course he adds when he’s not scoring. When he’s played wide before this season he’s created chances. He created the goal against Bristol this season and can be a constant threat once form returns.

Why do I need attention? Haji Wright has proved he’s a top player at this level. Randomly calling him shite deserved the shire emoji

I am quite new to this forum (actually I joined years ago but never really posted until recently) and made the odd post but stumbled across this thread made specifically for Haji and whilst I agree he hasn't been at the races for a while he doesn't deserve all the stick he is getting. Fans saying get rid of him, ok who do you replace him with. There's clearly an underlying issue why he is struggling so badly atm.

I actually thought he did OK today.

Came on as the 10 and linked play better than Rudoni did. Couple of decent turns and runs. Just looks very bereft of confidence.

He put in one good tackle, unfortunately it was on himself

If I was him and saw this thread I wouldn’t be arsed either.

Feel this could apply for quite a few of the squad tbf at the moment.

Top of the Championship by 6 points and you have comments today saying some of the players who have helped get us there are a disgrace, should never play for the club again, etc.

The concern in recent form is warranted but the reaction today by some has been embarrassing

It was double figures at the start of the week. Bottling this will get players in the record books-for the wrong reasons.

I agree, and I'd also worry what a drop out of the automatics could mean for the squad mentally if we went into the play offs.

I just think it's far too early for some to be writing us off at the moment or turn on the players.
Seen comments today saying we won't make the play offs now. It's insanity

The title of this thread is bloody embarrassing and some of the comments way OTT, but we have doubled our number of losses in one week of football. The second against a fucking awful Birmingham team.

If he’s depressed because he hasn’t scored while being on 20k a week with his team top of the league then he should try having to get a job in a factory spending your wages watching him.

The bloke isn’t giving enough for the shirt end of. If the bed wetters on here want to praise him then crack on if it makes you feel better
