The whole operation seems a bit tin-pot.

I ordered my lad the away kit with his name on nearly two weeks ago, ready for his birthdya next week. No signs of it being out of stock etc, yet nothing progressed with the order Chased it up on the online message centre, and got a response on Monday saying there was no reason that it hadn't progressed, but promised me it would be dispatched that day... It still hasn't been dispatched...

Add in the notorious Hummel quality issues, and the many other issues stated in here, and i hope theres a massive overhaul next summer

I've been at the club shop in the city center twice in 6 days to buy some Cov shirts( home) for people in Bangkok and beyond ( Tokyo) who want one but I have not seen the the more expensive one on sale .

I ordered a shirt just over a week ago and it is also still showing as processing.

I chased and was told it would be dispatched shortly on Monday and it still hasn't moved.

Yeah its not good. Apparently there was a whole batch of home shirts with the wrong labelling. As I put earlier on this thread my medium is smaller than my daughter's small! In fairness to the club they have promised to send me a new medium this week to replace me defect one.

Ive said before that the club shop has got worse every year under Doug and been chastised for it

Everything else has improved 50fold, the merch stock issues, shirt releases etc have just kept getting worse every year and nothing is done about it

It needs sorting its tinpot for a club with prem aspirations

Yes,
Apart from the release of the striped shirt (although once they all got delivered - stock remained good) this has been the worse for a while.

They've gone crazy on about a billion warm up/leisure ranges but have go no actual kit!!

I did think that the leisure range is very extensive!!

Seems like a bit of an own goal from the club. It's so frustrating. They're doing so many things right/better than SISU. So much good is coming from the club. But the little things that are easily fixed and easily avoided seem to be the things they struggle to sort.

I caved this morning and bought the cheaper one. I've waited for over a month. I was told by somebody very senior at the club on Saturday that the pros would be up this Tuesday. Its now Thursday and still no sign.

As much as I have liked the Hummel shirts over the years we've had them, is it time we looked for a new supplier? One that can offer us the bespoke shirts Hummel offer, but that can keep up with demand? How much are the club losing over shirts being out of stock? Its not a good business model.
I did wonder why, so many people had Hummel as suppliers after us, but they were soon dropped. I thought it strange as I always thought their shirts were nice. So why did every other club drop them? Was it supply issues? Quality issues? It just seems a bit strange.

We seem massively in bed with Hummel atm. They seem very reliant on us as a business partner rather than a team to supply kits to. So why can't they get it right?

The Hummel designs have been the best for years - if they can retain the design element but improve quality and quantities, we should stick with them.

The club crest on my 24-25 home shirt is already peeling off. Compare that to my 05-06 which is still good as new.

If it’s true that we are looking to change suppliers, do think it would be good to reset.

For all the good they do with the kit designs, the quality of them and supply operations really do let them down

The general range of items and retail side is better than ever but then the main thing people actually want to buy most is out of stock way too much.

I'd say there is too much this year outside of the kits and by the looks of it, at the expense of the kits.
Never seen so many different match/training/leisure/ travel items.

All great - but imagine how much of that stock is lying about - none of that out of stock that I can see.

Like I said - stock of kits has been terrible - the worst actual stock availability that I can remember. Kids is worse than adults.
Thing is it will be wank now when no one wants it

Then we will get a huge restock in February and end up with loads of kit no one wants and flog it at half price at the end of the season

The pro thing seems like a massive con to me.
It is a bit different mate.
Something a few manufacturers do.
Although our pro shirt is a million miles off the quality of some of the Nike/Adidas versions.
Saying that - 80 quid is a much better price than Nike/Adidas too!!

When they get that end of season sale on I'm going to be like a contestant on Supermarket Sweep

I’m not sure they forecast that it would sell out - I reckon they thought they’d sell some but most people would stick with the replica and not sell that many and got caught out.
Probably getting the stock of the away pro increased before it goes on sale so same doesn’t happen. Maybe….
