There's 2 seasons in football. There's the football season and silly season. Silly season starts in less than 2 weeks.

Every player has a price. The good thing is we're in a strong position for once. The only cheeky bids we might accept are for the players Lampard sees as fringe players at best. The players like Rudoni, MVE and Saka will be with us next season unless a bidding war breaks out. Whatever happens I can't see Rudoni leaving unless it's for what we got for Gyokeres or more. And with the relationship Lampard and Rudoni have I can't see it being through their choice unless it's a big offer from a big club.

What I would like to see is us keep Rudoni and MVE. I'm undecided on Wright. Everyone else are more easily replaceable.

Can I ask what may be a stupid question: Tats is left footed but plays on the right. EMC is right footed but plays on the left. Why is this better than them playing on their correct side? I know Tats can sometimes go with his right foot (cross v Oxford was it?) but it is rare so always cutting in is quite obvious?

So simply put, Lampard wants the wingers to invert so go from right to left for example or from left to right to create space on overlaps and allow them to cut back onto their favoured foot for either inswinger crosses or shots

To cut inside the full back putting the fullback potentially onto their weaker foot. It also means they can shoot off their strongest foot.

Tats can actually cross with both feet, so it is annoying he often chooses to beat his man twice so he can cross off his stronger foot. But often gets closed down while trying to do it. He needs to mix it up more as he was getting too predictable. There were signs he was starting to be more varied the last few games. I think if the opportunity to cross is there, take it. We need more first time deliveries.

More pertinent,why not interchange in matches, which is something I was wondering in the PO's?

This is a good question but it needs to be worked on. The days of wide players swapping randomly during matches are largely gone, not least because of their defensive responsibilities which are now seen as integral to the role but previously were seen as a bonus if the winger tracked back.

Just seen Semi Ajayi released from Albion. I know he’s had injuries but could he be worth a punt? Quick player so would suit our high line and if on a free, you could look to move Lati on and make some money?
