If the club aren't going to ban him, then what is the detriment to Turner posting transfer exclusives?
I'm sure his bosses would be delighted with the increased clicks and ad revenue his articles would accrue.
Or is the real answer that he just can't be arsed to build the necessary...
That happens all the time. Every single club sends out a heads up to relevant journos that they're about to announce a new signing. You typically get 15-30 mins to prepare your story.
Really though, what "Access" does Turner get apart from press conferences? His last exclusive interview was with Viveash in early 2024.
And no journalist has ever been banned from a stadium or pressers for reporting transfer news. So I don't buy that explanation at all.

I think he was a panic buy in the sense that we got desperate and ended up paying an inflated fee for a player who isn't very good. And now we're looking to replace him.
After sleeping on it, I've decided I don't trust us to spend the Rudoni money wisely and not just make 4 Kitching-esque panic buys. So it's a no from me.
We’d all love to keep him but you can’t turn down circa £20m for a player you spent £4m on a year ago.
It would hurt though. Especially late in the window.
