So why do you need evidence from someone who dismisses your "alternative scenario". Especially when you have no reason (other than being paraniod maybe) to suggest your "alternative scenario" as by your own admission you have no evidence yourself.

You could also be asking Steve what evidence he has for dismissing a thought so surely?

All this proves (if you need proof) is that SISU are unfit to run a football club, it doesn't exonerate ACL/council/higgs role in it.

Overall it does not exonerate them of course not. However in this particular point that we are discussing.
The council said lets talk there is a deal to be done
SISU did not talk
Wasps did and a deal got done. You asked if ACL whilst in confidential talks with another suitor offered those confidential talks out to SISU. You also said if SISU got offered that deal and like they have always maintained they would not take it, you would be furious.

Most people see it was down to SISU to bid.
Also SISU have said they would not have done that deal.
So yes I know it is not an easy pill to take but on this particular point I don't think the ACL could be blamed.

Also additionally regarding Grendel's point.

Yes the council may have said to Wasps like they did to SISU if you are genuinely interested then come and talk. We don't know but frankly that makes no difference.

Most people believe SISU should have bid. Most people do not think the deal Wasps deal was a bad one.

He very kindly pointed Grendull in the direction of what was said at the trust open meeting that Nick Eastwood attended and his comments when he was asked the same question directly.

Now unless you're saying that Mr Eastwood wasn't telling the truth why would you not consider it evidence?

I wouldn't judge anything that comes out of sisu, ccc, wasps or anybody's mouth as gospel truth. Especially when he came out with some other corkers the same night.

Everything needs to be taken with a mountain of salt, otherwise you end up running from pillar to post believing everything.

They can be blamed, at least partially. Those who refuse to do so are blinkered, ultimately SISU are to blame but everyone played their role.

I wonder how many Cov folk tuned into listen to CWRs dab frequency yesterday?
That would be an interesting stat and possibly an indicator for future attendances
I'd wager it was in the low hundreds.

Was it the same time as our game? So wasps were on DAB and us on normal?

Was talking with mates in the pub the other day and the Wasp subject came up and I noticed a couple refer to them as "us" and "we" Took the piss a bit but a sign of things to come I think?

Wouldn't bother looking on the wasps thread if I were you

Why not, I want to come on here to talk about CCFC in relation with Wasps as our landlords. Maybe its you who are in the wrong place, if you want to talk about Wasps results and performances you should try the Wasps rugby forum. Not a Wasps thread on the CCFC board of a football forum.

Nope this one wasn't set up for that. Those type of threads are in the main area.

So in answer to your question, who cares.

You because you are reading it ;)

So where does it say this thread was set up for Wasps news and results? It's posted on the Coventry City General Chat section of a football forum

Looks like the only person who cares is you as you continue your pro wasps agenda whilst pretending not to do so.

I don't care about Wasps result, it annoys me that I have to read it on a football forum.

It's not, if it is about ccfc rent it is ccfc isn't it. If it is about a wasps result it goes in there. :)

Are you sure?

Hopefully you can see the confusion you yourself on this thread said wasps results go here. Anything Wasps related that affects CCFC goes in the main forum.

Ah sorry for the confusion, can see that now!!

No this is for stuff like "ahh wasps did this at the ricoh, they put up a new sign"

If it relates to ccfc it will stay in the main one! Match threads etc, that's for the wasps forum.

Always the danger with papering the crowd that they'll decide not to bother turning up. Would love to see attendances (for all things not just Wasps) reported as total, paid and revenue so you can really get the full picture.

Quite right, Dave. I wonder how many have PAID to get in today? Once the freebies run out (did they say first four games?) then we will have more of an idea.

Probably as many freebies as people who never go to city tweeting about how city never get attendances like wasps....while saying come on wasps....while making sisu out images on photoshop.

I have consistently said that after the honeymoon period (free tickets etc) is over, we will get a real picture of how their attendances will pan out. I suspect they will be up from their Wycombe levels for the rest of the season, but think we will see a true reflection next year.

With competition for fans in the local area with established clubs, like our very own CRFC, the Saints and the Tigers, I cant see a huge amount of new fans from the Coventry area. Coupled with other sports competing for local peoples cash, and the huge apathy from local fans, and the fact that Wasps are not, and will not be for quite a while a top competing club, then I suspect at least on fan numbers they will be hugely dissapointed, and I for one will be glad.
