There is now a sub forum where Wasps threads will be moved to, I have had a fair few complaints from people who don't want to read them so this is the best way:

http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/forums/47-Wasps

If you want to post about them, please put it in here.

Don't they usually have 'Wasps' in the title though?

There's always the opportunity not to read any thread if so inclined.

Italia, Martcov, MMM, Jack going to be moderators, I presume?

Good idea, Nick. I don't particularly want to read about them.

Understandable. Let's also have a "three weeks" thread for all those who like that sort of thing. Or maybe an " It's the Council/ ACL/ Higgs/ Ann Lucas/ Mutton/ Wasps/ The Telegraph's fault " thread for Torch and co.. I don't particulary want to read that sort of thing. More interested in where we are going to end up under our present owners than deflections.

Nah a 3 weeks thread will just consist of ccfcway repeating himself over and over again.

Sorry, Weber Shandwick will have to pay to advertise formally on here. ;)

Good idea, I'm sick of hearing about them.

I would ask for any posts on any thread that mentions them especially if its been done to change the subject gets moved here also but it would probably take a couple of weeks just to move yours.

Plenty seem to be very "sub" to Wasps for sure.

Must be the steroid built muscles that attracts or somethings.
I like the way your avatar is yellow and black. Did you choose it in support of Wasps?

I do. They are in our ground and are our landlords. Whatever happens with Wasps has a a significant bearing for Coventry City FC.

This could also get very confusing. If there is an important news story about Wasps and CCFC's rent situation does it have to go on the Wasps forum?

Surely lots of Wasps stories do affect Coventry City FC.

It's not, if it is about ccfc rent it is ccfc isn't it. If it is about a wasps result it goes in there. :)

Stop being sensible.

We are all grown adults here. Well, most of us anyway. ;)

There have been Wasps stories that have been moaned about though that do affect CCFC, like signage and changing rooms and ticketing and marketing etc.

It's a very fine line at times.

True. That's fine. However, I don't want to read any more shit from Italia saying how well organised and great Wasps are. I also don't give a fuck if they win or lose. I'm perfectly happy for Italia, Spion, MMM, Noggin, Martcov and the rest to cream over Wasps as long as I don't have to read about it.

Common sense really just people kicking up a stink because of who it is. If it don't interest you don't read it. You can usually tell by the title. Hardly anyone kicks up a stink when people talk about going to CRFC.

Hopefully if it something wasps related that affects CCFC it will stay in the main body.

Yep, agree. If it's something to do with that affects CCFC, i.e. badges on the outside, pitch, pricing policies then it should be in the main forum. If it's anything to do with the Wasps "team" and results, then I care as much as if it were any other rugby club or football club from around the country and we should let the Wasps Cheerleaders squeal over it in their own forum.

Hopefully if it something wasps related that affects CCFC it will stay in the main body.

Yep it will if it directly has something to do with ccfc, however their results and stuff don't :)

Perhaps we should take a leaf out of the ccfc book and form a consultative committee consisting of some completely unrepresentative people to examine the plans for what to put into a new fantasy sub forum.

Don't mean to be picky, but haven't people said that most of us want to see Wasps struggle here so that it makes more sense for CCFC to remain?

Therefore if Wasps keep losing and the crowds drop that may possibly benefit CCFC.

Just saying like. Wasps results could well indeed affect CCFC's future here.

If wasps show any signs that they are beginning struggle then we will enter a new 5-6 six year plan consisting of......

Keeping our costs as low as possible and trying to get to break even. Making life harder for wasps anyway we can eventually leading to us getting kicked out (which will suit our plan as it means we no longer contribute or help the wasps business model in anyway.) we will do all this hoping wasps have to sell up ACL.

This 5-6 years for the fans will be terrible and like the last plan it won't work.

The best thing the club could do now is for some sort of alliance with wasps cutting our costs by doing so wherever we can. Also as part of the alliance get as much access to revenues as we can. Support each other to be as successful as possible so those revenues increase.

Unfortunately IMO that is the only solution for CCFC. However it is not a solution that suits our owners as it would stabilise the club but it would not lead to a club or assets that could be sold for 20-30 million.

Hence I personally hope wasps are really successful and make a killing. I hope our owners accept there is no possibility of ACL going out of business. I hope they come clean regarding the unfeasibility of building a new stadium.

I hope they decide to cut their loses and sell the business to someone who can form a partnership with wasps.

Please explain how my previous post is Wasps PR. It was intended as a light hearted comment agreeing with previous posts that the dividing line is not always clear and linking it with one of the poorer decisions of our owners.

So you are happy then with people on here just posting wasps PR are you? Fair enough
Doesn't bother me one way or another its a different sport if it had been another football club then no. What does worry me is that if Wasps are a success then in less than two years they may say we dont need CCFC that we are more a hinderece and tell us to piss off then what? Everybody is going on about the 2+2 ie two years with a possibility of an extra two not cast iron I would imagine that both parties have to agree to the extra two years wouldn't you? As for Wasps PR a sixteen year old could do the PR for them at the moment perhaps our owners should take note:thinking about: then again they may have because they're keeping their mouths shut, but then again they're probably straining at the leash to open them and ready to put their collective feet in them.
