Well yeah I probably couldn't afford a full £500 loss but if I put £100 and lost £30 - £40 it wouldn't bankrupt me but I suggest if a few people put the same in, if things don't sell they go on eBay and all money shared out between the people who put money in. There may be a little bit of a loss (hopefully not though).
I haven't done things like this, anybody work in purchasing or do this sort of thing to know how it is best? Also if anybody knows anything about best ways to ship to get it cheaper etc.
I could try and do most of the online stuff, but in terms of selling at away games / home games I couldn't.

A central outlet would be ideal. There must be a city center retailer who supports city and would flog them for us, if only for the media coverage.

JImbo from T&S has sorted a few on ocassion for cup games etc ,cost him a few in royalties ,copyright etc but has the contacts and costs .

I doubt to be honest that if SISU see it it will change a thing, 1 thing it would do is at least get the fans a bit more united!!
You won't have people saying "oh you are happy with this" and the bickering. People who don't want to stand and shout or chant SISU OUT (not because they don't want that, but because it isn't their thing) can just wear a scarf.
I very much doubt it will change much, nothing will but at least it might help the fans stop going at each other and get a bit of respect and raise a bit for a charity!
It is like how when people with moustaches or ride motorbikes have an unsaid respect or just a nod
I think it's a really good idea Nick. I'm sure all fans that go or don't go will agree. Once a few 100 start, the rest will follow. With regards the red and green, wasn't one of ccfcs very early kits these colours IIRC. 1920s or so. So another plus for the colour choice

I'd buy a couple, I think the red and green should maybe be half and half though instead of stripes.Only trouble is sisu would probably use them colours as our next away top, lol

You could just not attend sixfields and save yourself a scarf, I think that protest would send a bit of a better message than waving scarfs...

A scarf isn't really a decent tool for a protest considering, well it's a scarf... many football fans use them, hardly unique and obvious is it.

The only thing noticeable in sixfields is the missing 90% of fans..
Add more to that and it would be unmissable, but people have rights and all that, own agendas and such.

And I'm sorry, but this is typical of some Coventry fans. It's a decent idea, would get attention and recognition with some money going to charity and some want to shoot it down before it's had a chance.

Nick, please don't jump down my throat because this is a genuine question. The scarf idea is great but it does assume no return to the Ricoh for the new season. That is the basis I'm working on - is that your thinking too? With my usual 'go for it' view, then I'd say crack on with the scarves but do say if you'd like me to check with Bludog because it might save you a lot of work!

Following from another thread, would anybody get one of these? I have shamelessly stolen the idea from somebody on here a few months ago and Man Utd.
People keep saying they want people inside Sixfields to protest and some people just aren't the type to want to shout and sing but how easy is it to just wear a scarf? Just get a scarf, put it on (Sixfields is freezing anyway in the winter) and you can show you don't agree.
Away games people can have them, on the Hill people can probably have more than 1 as they will need them to stay warm. Anybody can have one, even if you see somebody on the bus wearing one you can feel a bit of unity about things with them. You can also get the mini versions you can stick in your car with the suckers.
To keep costs down they don't have to be fancy, just something like this:
They could be ordered in bulk and profits going to a Coventry charity.
I am happy to help with an online way for people to order them and contact wholesalers to get the best price (Although I am sure people have better contacts already). Obviously you can have text and logos on them but then the prices start to shoot up.

If they can be made and got for say $2 each, sell them at a fiver and it gives a local charity a boost too.
To e honest they can be bought and worn around the city and at the away games as well

Clearly money going to any charity for any cause is always a good idea, but my opinion about waving a scarf in protest of?? in sixfields doesn't appeal to me as a strong protest, and maybe a few like me too.
