I think he means "The Club" not SISU. It was Robinson, etc. There was an article in CET at the time. Surprised Simon G hasn't mentioned that....:thinking about:

When did they buy us?

You have a lot to say but from a position of anonymity which, IMHO, undermines your credibility. Why not be more transparent so that we can make an objective assessment of your comments? Do you work for the Council? Any links with Coventry Labour Party? Etc?

We're all trying to get to the actual facts here so you can see why transparency is a good thing can't you?

I'm sorry Rob, but that's unfair. Almost everyone here posts under anonymity - which is why it's important to look at the facts (or what people state as the facts), and challenge them, this rather than to start assuming hidden motives.

I don't think it's a secret that you're a friend of Les Reid, and it seems you've had some information from the SISU side with regard to the case which wasn't easily obtainable from the public domain. On that basis I could challenge your motives as to what you're saying and doing- but I believe you when you say that you're looking at this as a supporter of the club, rather than one side or the other.

I think in fairness it's only reasonable to accept that's also true of people with whom you may not agree, like OSB. To quote a political cliche, it's about playing the ball rather than the man.

Manhattan group backed away. Ranson and sisu were preferred over the last ditch attempt by Robinson to buy it

@TheSimonGilbert: Sisu QC reads from 07 PWC valuation report which shows ACL income streams could be affected by club performance.

Rob has made several major mistakes since joining:

1. Criticising the council
2. Criticising OSB

Big no no's.

Well, showing round PH4 was a pretty good indicator of that.

No it's not. They could do so under the auspices of him being an investor in ACL, couldn't they?

In what way would that change the ownership of the club, and oust SISU? It simply doesn't

Lol...is the sisu qc trying to lose this for sisu?

Sisu knew the clubs performance would affect acl income streams...hence sisu deliberately withholding rent. And some might say manufactured relegation and a deliberate move to sixfields.

Ah, evidence now provided (apparently) that Club believed rent was unaffordable back in '06. As I've mentioned previously, the club asked ACL for a discussion on rent negotiation in December 2005.

I don't think that's ever been denied. However wasn't the sliding scale proposal turned down (edit: by the club). I guess we'll see. In the meantime, what were SISU doing about it from when they bought the club up until the roadmap/rent strike?

Seems very shortsighted by CCFC to agree to rent and then within 4 months of moving in not being able to afford it.
Maybe it was don hutchison and Dennis Wises wages that were the problem....;o)

I remember PWKH dismissing the story as nothing that was discussed in detail, so yeah, we'll see, I guess.

The rent was ridiculous so it's not rocket science to assume CCFC wanted to do something about it, even at that early stage whilst we were in the Championship getting fairly healthy crowds.

@TheSimonGilbert "Sisu QC reads from 07 PWC valuation report which shows ACL income streams could be affected by club performance"

Bloody hell, the guys from PWC were on the ball, Now there is a statement of the bleeding obviuos. Is this the best SISU can do?:thinking about:

Similarly, seems shortsighted to have pegged the rent so high in the first place.

Big no no's.

On the second point he is trying to paint OSB in a bad light just because he has a different view. What the fuck does whether he is in the labour party got to do with todays proceedings, and we know he doesn't work for the council ,he has confirmed it many times. If he asked the same questions about anyone else on this site would be equally wrong, its got sweet FA to do with today, its petty and again its because he has a different view

If Rob S is there as a neutral fan as he claims,he should just stick to the points being made and put them on here for us to comment

SISU are 90% to blame for the club's demise In my opinion. In the same way the club's attendances have dropped by around 90% since they took over. That includes my season ticket.

And why isn't there someone in court sketching an artists impression of Seppala?!

Surely if you want to see her you just look at the photos?

Got to love the 90% again, up there with 3 weeks.

when this bombshell going to land? I'm getting bored of this already. So far its the same old lines from sisu's QC's causing the same old discussions/arguments on here.

Talking of Sisu's QC's, how many are there today? I'll be disapointed if it's not more than 7.

You haven't commented on the number of boxes being wheeled into the Court yet. I'm a little disappointed.

91% then is it?! Just my opinion Nick. I don't post often but won't attend a match until SISU are gone. So many feel this way.

Just looked and they took us over in Dec 2007 I think, I was a bit confused!

So will the Sisu QC have anything showing that Sisu made any serious attempt at negotiations over the rent in between them taking over and the club not Sisu deciding* to go on rent boycott?

* as said by Sisu in the Higgs case.

Damn, i forgot about the boxes.

How many boxes are being wheeled into court? And did any of Sisu's QC's also arrive on a sack barrow, Silence of the lambs style?
