noone cares about us for sure.

but mls needs all help it can get,so i dont mind it get news stories.

The mls is shite, even Americans don't give a fuck about it, they prefer their own football, where they mostly use their hands, and the baseball world series, where only they compete.

Just turned off deadline day ssn, they cut to Jim white "live" as he turns up for work for Christ sake. Then if that wasn't bad enough, presenter introduces Jamie carragher and says "happy deadline day". That's enough for me.

I hate the way they build Jim White up as some legend - 'mr deadline day'. He is a smug twat who ruins the day.

I note Luke Varney could be on his way out of Leeds and subject to a bid.

So what's happened so far then?

We've sold Clarke and brought 2 strikers and a midfielder in?

On the surface a good result, but only one has champion league experience!

A good result for SISU on the surface................for CCFC, well I'll reserve judgement for a few weeks !

How is it a good result for sisu?

If Barton leaves on loan, then are central midfield looks fairly weak Fleck, Thomas, Daniels. Where does Mcgouch play? on the wing?

I think Craig Davies of Bolton would do a fantastic job in this division. Is 28 so good experience, supposedly in advanced talks with PNE though about a loan to them according to their fans.

Well it depends on whether they are having to pay the loanees wages, I doubt it, so they will obviously be cashing in on Clarkes sale plus his reputed high wages off the books.

So are you suggesting we should go back to the "good old days" and sell a player just before the transfer deadline (mcsheffrey and turner for example) and frantically sign replacements with long contracts and hard cash (Mckenzie/Kyle and McDonald) - I'm still cut up over that dreadful loaner mcgoldrick.

Nope, you are putting words in mouths again, I'm suggesting that if these guys are coming extremely cheap or even free and we've cashed in one of our best players then I'll reserve judgment on whether it's been a good day for CCFC !

I am not sure what you mean. It's a bad day if they haven't spent a penny and plan to use the proceeds from Clarke to cover some of the clubs overall negative cashflow?

Yes - that is good, right?

Yes, im glad we're bringing bodies in,i can't be bothered to bicker about 'why haven't they paid money for anyone'etc etc, we all know sisu would sell anyone if the price was right.

Ill look forward to seeing them play next tuesday.

What does bother me a little though is that they don't seem to be willing to offer anyone a permanent long term deal.

Maybe im being paranoid?

I think we can have better quality on loan than we can persuade to sign on a permanent deal.
Note I said 'persuade', not 'afford'.
This way we have gotten three high level players in - instead of three legue 1 players.
