I think my viewpoint is pretty obvious and i am hardly scared - I have expressed it numerous times - and please don't accuse me of insults - have a look at the likes of rich Spoinkop etc if you want to look on the insult scale.

I am merely pointing out that the OP clearly ignorant regarding marketing strategy. The term distressful is not appropriate as this is a Tier Three campaign - i.e a campaign targeted towards the local media communicating an offer. This is no more distressful than BMW offering 0% finance or Mercedes Free Servicing as a local offer through targeted media. The aim is to create awareness, build market share etc.

The move to another part of the country invariable requires a change in media tactics. Very understandable. It also does not mean that the club is increasing marketing spend. It will have a marketing budget and it will spend in various ways that budget.

'This is SBT all over' is just generalised nonsense. We are all City fans and there are good posters on here and good posters on there. It's ridiculous to suggest that a whole site is one thing or another. This forum is filled with diverse views and posters and is just a representation of city fans differing views in general.

There's a perception that somehow GMK is anti-council and SBT is anti-Sisu and that is simply not true. We are all individuals with our own individual views and opinions.

You will find a large majority on here who also blame the council as well as the owners.

We've been asking repeatedly for well reasoned (preferably properly spelt) arguments that we can dissect and that may, oh I dunno, change someone's mind.

I wasn't against Sisu either. When they took the club out of Coventry though is when they lost any respect I had for them. It would be the same whoever the owners were.

I now have a big issue with Sisu, but it is only on this one single issue, that of us playing home games 34 miles away.

Somewhere in there however, even if you disagree with his conclusion, his views are worth listening to because he's closer connected to SISU than most of us, and can make a better guess at SISU's next moves than many of us. Unfortunately, this often boils down into what people want SISU to be like, and what they want them to be limited in, rather than actually trying to work out how to play them based on what they are like, and what they are able to do. That's how they got an easy ride to begin with where anybody with concerns was... shouted down.

Also don't think it has actually convinced him of that, just them 'winning' is the least worst option of those coming up on the horizon; that's hardly a ringing endorsement!
