I am not preaching to anybody. I hope more people do go to games whether it is Sixfields or Barnsley, not for SISU's benefit but for the fans own benefit of doing something they enjoy.

I can't truly enjoy it with the situation as it is. So for the moment I've chosen to support other local football & have been to a few Nuneaton, Sphinx & Cov Utd games.

Anyone who doesn't accept that on some level they are facilitating the move away from the Ricoh by going to sixfields is either deluded or in denial. They are putting their own personal enjoyment of watching the team play (as everyone would prefer to be doing), over the bigger cause.

Yes. A few people in Coventry cancelling wouldn't make any difference to the amount already set. The amount is set when they put in their bid for TV rights.

Correct. Although I think it's quite easy for me to say that as I've supported from afar for quite some time having moved away to a different city, only going to a couple of games a season.

It's one of them though isn't it. Boycotting home league games to the extent that we are is a huge gesture and it been stronger than I ever though it would be. Is it the end of the world if people go to a cup game? No. Yes it kind of goes against the campaign (or slogan or whatever), but as long as people continue to boycott home games I don't think its a huge deal. Doubt SISU will benefit hugely from a few cup games worth of revenue

I also think the trying to stop people from saying they disagree with other fans attending the Ricoh is a load of tosh.

This 'it's their decision, don't judge them, don't pass comment. They make their choice you make yours'

If someone feels that other fans should not attend the Sixfields. If fans think it is a bit weird to criticise the move to Sixfields but then go there ( which does whatever you think suggest to SISU that you accept the move)

Allow the fans who disagree with other fans going to say so.

As long as they are not threatening or abusive I don't see why one Cov fan cannot say to another I think it is wrong to go to the Sixfields it sends out the wrong message and does not help our long term cause.

NOPM is Simple for me. I don't agree with the move so I stay away from Sixfields. I don't agree with this New Stadium and JR bolloc5$, so now don't go away either.

Just happens that because I don't go I can say NOPM.
So it's easy to be a supporter of NOPM as you don't actually have to do anything.:thinking about:

I don't really see why those who are against NOPM get so worked up about it. I don't go to Sixfields as I feel doing so endorses the club being moved out of Coventry. I also feel that the less money SISU receive the less likely they are to stick it out so for that reason I do not purchase any CCFC merchandise, haven't subscribed to Sky Blues Player and don't attend away cup games. Not everyone who doesn't go to Sixfields does so because of NOPM, some simply can't get there (and I think the club have done a terrible job making attendance easy for groups such as the elderly who may struggle to get to games themselves), some don't go as they don't think we should be there, some support NOPM and I'm sure some just can't be bothered with the hassle of going to home games that far away.

Do I support NOPM? I guess so but I have never viewed it as the sort of thing you had to pledge allegiance to and promise to abide by a set of rules. If people want to go to Barnsley fine. I would prefer if less people went to Sixfields but everyone has the right to make their own choice. Personally, although I don't agree with them, I have less problem with those who go to Sixfields because they feel the blame lies with ACL / CCC or are pro-SISU than those who use the 'i just want to see us play' as a reason. I'm sure all those attending want to see us play but we're sacrificing that as it is pretty much the only form of protest left open to us. My personal feeling is that those that attend on that basis are just being selfish and potentially doing more harm than good but saying that it's their decision and I've never had an argument with any Sixfields attendees or told them they shouldn't attend.

I will never back our owners whilst they continue to rip our club apart. If they had no choice but to have us play elsewhere I would go to Northampton. But we all know this is not the case. They started off by saying that the rent was too high. We all agreed with this. But now even though they have had a rent free for this season and only 100k for the next two seasons we are still in Northampton. My main problem with them is the lack of truth that they give us. This gives no trust. And by going to the so called home games I feel as though I would be backing their decisions. I have strong morals. They stop me from going to the home games. The best thing we could do is stick together and not go. But everyone has different morals and thoughts. I may not agree with everyone but I would never have a go at anyone for going. It is their choice and not mine or anyone else.

The least they can do is start being truthful to us. Most of us are not idiots, although an outsider visiting here might think differently

You say NOPM is complicated but suggests it is just about not giving money. Slightly tongue in cheek I suspect. But yes it is complicated because people are emotionally torn. Do you think they deliberately do not want to go and see their team?

You may not think it will bring our club back? An opinion you are entitled to and you may even be right, but, nobody knows.

I will now ask you a question as you seem to be against us playing in Northampton. What are you doing about it, how are you protesting, or lobbying our owners to try and either change their minds or just be more proactive about moving the situation forward?

Not attending Sixfields may not work, but seemingly just lying down and accepting it will definitely not change anything.

I'm not hardcore NOPM but I've always understood it as a base of no Sixfields tickets and no merchandise. When cup games and away games have been discussed it's been accepted that these do not fall into the same bracket as otherwise there's no way to support the lads.

But again, this is not some top down diktat, it's a banner for a broad church to rally under.

Every sensible person realises that, the fact you and Torchy intentionally play stupid marks you down as rather poor trolls.

Groundhog Day......Why is it hard to understand ? The majority staying away from Sixfields are objecting to the move and showing that by non attendance at games there. Many are finding staying away painful and filling that void by attending as many away games as possible. Not going to Sixfileds does not equal dogged dedication to NOPM. i'll never go to Sixfields as it smacks of insult to us fans and going there gives sisu the green light to continue holding the club to ransom there, especially now as there is a perfectly good rent offer on the table for a short period while they build neverland.

i'll never step foot in the shop either, again it smacks of insult to us fans. you can have a shop in the city but you cant have the team.

i can only think of 1 scenario where i would break my blood oath to NOPM and that would be a wembley final (thinking playoffs rather than a cup). RFC keeps banging on about supporting the team and not the regime, well on an occasion like this he would be right IMHO.

I set foot in the shop the other day, as I wanted to pop into Maplins (which is next door) anyway. I didn't buy anything in the shop, but I did notice it had about 1/3 the customers Maplins had.

I went in for the first time today, it doesn't have a big range of products, but the products do seem better quality and design than the rubbish that was being produced a few years ago.

I support NOPM but I had some vouchers from 18 months ago, so I intended to only spend the voucher amount, in the end I bought last years top and a boot bag, both for my lad to try and keep him away from the glory clubs. I spent £1.99 of my own money, although I will convince myself that this was the VAT amount, and therefore did not go to Otium.

I was the only person in there, apart from the 3 staff, it was a pretty depressing experience.
