All the talk about talks seems to be saying the only way to get CCFC back to Cov is to sell the Ricoh to sisu. That might be a political solution for the council and would help sisu's balance sheet but shouldn't the question be what is the best way to secure a long-term sustainable future for CCFC with success on the pitch and stability off it? Aren't the team and fans more important than local politics and hedge fund profits? There should only be two priorities - the team and fans, but it feels like they are the very last consideration in setting up these talks.

yeah, don't know whether it's true but seem to be a fair few people saying acl were able to use the CCFC rent to disguise the failure to make a profit and there are serious worries about their viability but sisu are equally desperate to show their investors some kind of gain from the CCFC investment. Might suit political and profit interests to off load the ricoh to sisu, council washes their hands of the whole thing and as fans we're left with an owner who wants return on her investment, isn't interested in football and has shown complete disregard for fans. Very much hope this is wrong but wouldn't bet against it

The question still remains in all this, "what is the Ricoh worth?" Sisu don't have the funds to buy and build a 12000 seat stadium with out outside investment, the price for the Ricoh is going to be significantly more than this. If the Council under value the package they will once again be open to judicial review for not getting the proper return on a council investment. The other thing is what are Sisu after and what are the council willing to sell? I thought, but wait to be corrected, that their was some kind of point of contract that the land around had to be developed? Will the council just sell the stadium and business and not the land around it so they can develop it themselves or sell it to make a better return for tax payers. Sorry folks but its not a s simple as just selling the Ricoh to Sisu. NOPM.

We have literally no power, as this whole debacle has shown.

Supporters Trusts have been very successful at many clubs - do you not think the same could be true for us?

For me personally, I would find it morally wrong to watch CCFC play in Northampton regardless of who owned us.

Also, there is the argument then of, if sisu are determined to do this, then lets make it cost the bastards as much as possible.
