So for gods sake what the hell are they wanting to do.
Fisher and Seppalla have moved on and want and are committed to building a new stadium, that will give the club a new start and sustainable future , but Labovich wants to buy the Ricoh

Are they that poor at putting over their message, just tell the fans the truth, is it the Ricoh you want ,or you have moved on and will build a new stadium !

They really need new PR team as the lot they have at the moment are very poor

In my opinion - and I would like to be proved wrong - telling the truth and getting the message across are two different things. You might say entirely opposite things.

Yes just caught the last bit of the interview. Quick reaction from the bit I saw, firstly clearly a big SISU PR campaign is now afoot. Clearly Fisher has been sidelined in all this, and probably for good reason. Labovitch comes across as a much more sympathetic figure, and speaks in far more measured tones. The bit I heard was still basically a rehash of what has happened. At times he came across as sounding a bit desperate, almost seemingly pleading with ACL to reopen talks.
He mentioned the fact that ACL were happy to sell to Byng, Haskell and the Chinese group, but were not willing to discuss a sale with SISU.
He mentioned building a new stadium, but to me he didn't talk about it with much conviction. He talked of trying to engage in fresh dialogue with the 'new' council ownership. Hopefully the interview will be re-run through the day so fans can judge for themselves his interview.

it may be spin or whatever - the very fact he has been on sky sports and been 'interviewed' coming out with statements like he did gives me a little bit of hope bck that may be, just may be I will be able to see my football club back up the Ricoh and back in Coventry. Although the other two have stated the thinly veiled threats that they have moved on and the Ricoh is not on the radar anymore this media coverage just shouts to me that SISU are stepping up the game against The Council and ACL using national media to bring them back to the table.

not a SISU puppet, just want my club back in coventry

NOPM is working and the Sisu pips are squeaking. They are increasingly desperate.
Time for them to sell up before the wheels totally fall off and a deal can then be done with a new (professional) owner.

i caught the start when he compared the situation to the middle east crisis!

he also said the rent deal was based on ccfc never being relegated from the premiership................it wasnt even build it until we were in the championship!

to be fair Brinner I beleive all the details on rent etc was actually signed while we were still in the prem by Richardson . It was just by the time the Ricoh had been built we had started our decline.

NOPM is working BIG time
KCIC is was and forever shall be irrelevant (standing outside empty buildings utter pointless

Trust betraying its membership by reneging on the only vote they had! Utterly useless group.

Forget the trust -- they have proven to be UTTERLY toothless inept and incompotent

Forget Negotiation - sisu have stated time and again they will not go for this - they want the ricoh end of story.

Horrendously small attendances - despite CWR constantly trying to disprove by saying how the crowds are increasing (an extra 100 or so - after the run of results - it is pathetic)

Their is only ONE weapon the fans have, and indeed have ALWAYS had - just don't go to the games, it IS working - regardless as to what the apologists like grendel Nick and the other spineless morons would have you believe!

If they are coming on such an offensive, what do you think will haooen in another month or two? What about when the judicial inquiry is thrown out AGAIN?

Boycotting games is painful for some, however if you are a true fan, surely the longer term health of the club is worth missing games against the likes of shrewsbury, walsall isn't it? There are no BIG games in this league! Now is the opportunity to show your support. Going to games is showing your support to sisu.

Even the players have come out in public and realised that the support is there for the players. No doubt they don't like playing at sixfields anymore than the fans like going there.

If the spineless toothless trust want to prove me wrong, then show you haven't just been selfishly trying to build up membership neglecting to try and find funding to purchase the club!

Show the public the size of the fighting fund as your #1 goon Steve Brown PROMISED many months ago - or is the truth something alien to you wankers?

Silence is deafening!!!!

that was when we were going to have a 45000 seat staduim with sliding roof and pitch though wasnt it?

it was scaled down after relegation and richardson had been ousted, i remember Jimmy Hill begging the council on the pitch at half time in a game well after relegation to help us out with costs etc.

Trust is a toothless talking shop nothing more

nearly 2 years ago the Sky Blues Trust formed promising they would act as a last resort. They claim to much self congratulation that they are determined to obtain part ownership of the club.

But WHAT exactly have they done about it?

FUCK ALL that's what!

All they have done is have a vote, where they patted themselves on the back for the democracy, and the result was clear and unequivocal. Nothing more to do with sisu!

Fine you would think that was an end to that. Roll on a few months - and guess what, without another vote, the egos in charge decided to betray that vote, and go against the VAST MAJORITY (their OWN words) of their OWN membership!

Now that is what is nowhere near what is democracy! So having found that SISU no longer listens to them, rather than act democratically (a key word they like to use to describe themselves), instead they cowardly try and worm their way back into sisu's good books!

What is so ironic, is that this will never work! They have chosen a path, that all it will do is make them look even more toothless and clueless.

How these wankers have the nerve to claim they represent even their own membership is shocking!

Let's see how long it is before these cowards who just cannot abide the truth being aired come on this thread and call for it to be closed!!

Or the tosser admin caves yet again to the trust nagging!

Prove me wrong trust! Prove that you haven't just been trying to grow your membership and negelecting your SOLE purpose!

Tell us all what the size of this elusive fighting fund is!

Or have you just pissed it all up on banners and petrol to get to League headquarters!

How serious are you about owning part of the club - or are you relying on owners just giving it to you for free!

Come on tossers - PROVE ME WRONG - I DEFY YOU!!!!

All we need to know is Sisu were offered the day they took over a chance to negotiate a new rent deal, they decline saying it wasn't important at that time... Why, because RR sold them a dream by investing and gaining promotion the rent deal will not even matter as they can sell the club or even buy the stadium with prem income...

Now TF admitted they had been the thoughts and plan at the time , so no plan b then, no plan b now, just crying because they did not understand the football business and were not interested in learning it,, just rely on others RR to secure a return...It was never meant to be a long term investment, just a quick turnaround on a decent initial investment which was thought to be enough for promotion.....People need to start looking at the way they have controlled failed and fell over every hurdle until its come to playing dirty,, which the defenders on here seem to like with rd 1 to sisu comments..

The CCC, ACL and Trust don't have to react they are getting to see Sisu no matter how much money they have don't like throwing it a way on something that has already burnt the investors fingers....

You may be correct - but I dare say, with Richardson already selling Highfield road, and planning permission given in1999 albiet for the larger stadium that the former chairman had done the deal. when they changed the plans and agreed the rent they probably were under the impression we would return to the premiership very quickly plus desperation would have come into play with Highfield Road disappearing - Oh how wrong they were!!

Another thing i noticed is that he basically said if the council won't open negotiations about selling them the Ricoh then they'll have tobuild there own ground. How many times does a sisu rep have to say this? They keep threatening this over and over again that to me its so obvious that its pie in the sky.

I get the impression that there are no plans for a new ground,no land earmarked, nothing. If there was then they would be getting on with it by now.

Sisu maybe good at getting their own way in the business world, they are the worst liars ive ever seen/heard. They're awful at it.

SISU are seriously backed into a corner - have lost about 85-90% of the fan base over the time of their tenure - That's a massive decrease and is one of the only real outcomes that can be measured (Alongside relegation) - the odd fan poll always seems heavily weighted to one side or the other.

The numbers haven't ever stacked up when it comes to the Northampton move. I really think they will tell the public anything - 'We are fully funding the 5 year move'. etc etc. In my opinion its a smokescreen and ramped up rhetoric for the JR and to 'try' and to get fans to go to Sixfields.
