I saw this thread earlier today and resisted the urge to immediately respond- perhaps regrettably valour has beaten my traditional discretionary nature.
Perhaps I should rise above, however;

35 years consecutive season ticket support sees me somewhat angered at the thought of being labelled a 'scab' should I choose to make that 36 years, 37, 38 (possibly 39 and 40). Like many, the sky blues chose me, a legacy of late grandfather and late father- genetically connected to this 'sky blue' cross to bear?
Like many I am faced with the head vs heart impossible decision.

Liquidation means they just sell the assets they have for what they are worth. They can,t liquidate whilst in administration as that's why ACL attempted to put them there to prevent it.

I would say that SISU would be pretty selfish to liquidate the club rather than let someone else have a go.

The fact we are even discussing they might means that SISU are a cancer to the club that needs to go.

ACL's reason for attempting to put the club in administration was so that they could choose their own administrator and then force SISU out...I don't believe it was anything to do with stopping SISU liquidating the club....IMO...

Passions are inflamed and it does feel somewhat to me that those prepared to go to Northampton do vindicate the move and make things a lot easier for SISU. It feels a bit like betrayal and lets SISU off the hook to an extent. I don't think they're "proper, loyal supporters" as many like to suggest-in an inflammatory way

And I hate people who say "oh, I don't care about politics, I just want to watch football..." as that kind of apathy and ignorance leads to all sorts of abuse by those in power (in all walks of life..). I'm sure Linnell is right and there will be a few thousand people who don't go on internet forums who will go regardless.

Wimbledon moved to SP for a short while ( 12 years) before realising they were never going to get permission for a new ground , the rest you already know.

This was always going to be an issue (should we go to Northampton or not) and generate a lot of lively debate and any other club's supporters would be divided as well.

A shit supported club !!! A club that has been Feckin shit for most of my 50 years, a club that has had no top 6 finish for over 40 years, a club that has and still is taking us for granted year after year ,yet still averaged 10k in the 3rd div. I would call that great support !!!!

While I share some concerns about the end result of getting to a point 3 years from now and owning our own stadium is still a big IF that does not preclude me from watching my football club go through the riggers of the football league week in week out.

SISU have rightly ben derided for the stance they have taken but regardless of what people are saying the intent is to return to Coventry asap at it's own stadium as negotiating to stay at the Ricoh has become an impossible task and unless the Ricoh is more supportive of the football club and more overt to sharing income streams specifically generated by the 10's of thousands of sky blue fans then I can't see it changing anytime soon.

I would have thought that while SISU keep pumping money into the football club for the next 3 years knowing the gates at Northampton will be a quarter or less than the Ricoh site you would want to support them as much as you can in the hope they see the evidence that their plan is worthwhile?
