Just point out that those above are to be Relegated.

Same odds (6/1) offered for us to be promoted.
Seems like they're just as confused on what this season has in store for us!

Got 8/1 at bet victor. Put a fiver on. At least i can get pissed on the winnings if/when sisu take us down to div 4.

betting on Coventry to be relegated...are you serious? I don't care what your excuses are for doing it IMO that's unacceptable...I thought I had logged on to a fester site when I read the thread - our team/club is being kicked from pillar to post and shite like this gets posted - you must love money more than your club.

Why does it? Its a way of slightly softening the blow if it did happen. I would love to lose the £5 I put on.

I do wonder about the intelligence of some on here.

All depends on your opinion on betting. Ive bet literally on anything since I was 12. Bet on what you want right? Betting isnt a vote of support. If a gambling man sees 9/1 and thinks in reality its 4/1 then he should bet. You dont have to want it to happen.

There are some daft ones on here that really need to grow up. Can't separate supporting a team and putting on a bet, and even more daft getting so upset about it?

I for one am not upset just a little embarrassed and bemused by some of our (fans/support) if you can call them that, betting on our team being relegated...that's all.

just to say i am a gambler. i have to say 6-1 is a very nice price for us to go down at this point because should things continue off field as they are now we could start the season 10 to 15 points minus ..... there are some good sides in that 3rd division this year, we could very easily go down half way through the season, so 6-1 would be a very handy price in that scenario as you wont get 6-1 again.

however if you believe the situation will be sorted off field 6-1 is definitely not a fair price, my tip is this: we will go down again due to the financial situation on the field and the off field antics placing too much pressure on the players... combined with the fact we are totally rubbish on the field. manager will be gone within 3 months and all the usual goings on/// but one thing is for sure: at some point we will reach the top 8 in the league and be 5 or 6 point clear of 9th! in that scenario you will get 25s or 33-1 on us being relegated. that is the value bet.

the clever bet is to take the 6-1 now should you believe we will not come out of administration. i feel we will not come out of administration due to the creditors imminent fightback therefore although i love the club my £500 will be on the highest price i can find on on the markets, i believe 9-1 should be able to be found somewhere..
