Haas are American.I'd like the scouting team to sound out more Japanese players, they all seem to have the same great work ethic and with our relationship with Haas too.
The team principal is Japanese Ayao KomatsuHaas are American.
Has there ever been a more universally liked Coventry City player?
Maybe so, but you don't have a partnership with Ferrari and therefore look for more French players. The team principal is Japanese Ayao Komatsu
From the times I've been old enough to support Cov I would say probably not.Has there ever been a more universally liked Coventry City player?
iirc Biamou had a massive goal drought when he first signed for us and things got a bit toxic towards him at one point - He certainly won the majority over in the end mind youFrom the times I've been old enough to support Cov I would say probably not.
Wise seemed to be loved as did Gus (first time) Biamou and Jodie Jones were both cult heroes for some but then disliked by others.
I would say Gyok too.
I do not think anyone dislikes Tats though so I agree with you

Regis?

Craig Bellamy? Kevin Kyle?Has there ever been a more universally liked Coventry City player?
Maranello?
You might want to Google Ferrari and find out what part of France they are based in...
Correct...a city in the province of Modena, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, ItalyMaranello?
Yes... that was kind of my point!Correct...a city in the province of Modena, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy
Roland Nilsson always seemed roundly appreciated.Has there ever been a more universally liked Coventry City player?
No but you might get a few Italians though.Maybe so, but you don't have a partnership with Ferrari and therefore look for more French players.
It's a US team!No but you might get a few Italians though.
For me its less about the players but the fans it could find. Honestly think if Tats continues this form he'll be in the Japan squad after xmas. And that gets Japanese eyes on him, and us as a club. Along with links to a Japanese ran F1 team and who knows how many shits it may sell?

Have I said anywhere anything to suggest it's not a US owned team? It is however ran by a Japanese principal. It may be owned by an American, he may be signing the cheques, but the overall day to day running of it and decision making is a Japanese man. They also have big ties with Toyota. For both these reasons Haas has a very big Japanese following. Im sure many of them would've seen the crossover days where we changed the tyres and they came to Ryton etc. Add to that we are now PL and seen by more eyes and have one of only a handful of Japanese players playing in the PL can only be a good thing publicity wise. Especially if he keeps his current form going and gets a much deserved call up for Japan. It's a US team!
You said no but you might get a few Italians though ref: my Ferrari comment... a comment made because of course the principal is French. But if you're in partnership with a company it's the corporate id that counts, as you rightly recognised with Ferrari you don't get some players from the French market because of Fred Vasseur, an employee. Extend the logic elsewhere and you'd suggest we might get a few Americans. I wouldn't be asking an F1 expert to be recommending footballers any more than I'd be expecting Haas to ask Lampard who's looking good in F3!Have I said anywhere anything to suggest it's not a US owned team?
