From the times I've been old enough to support Cov I would say probably not.

Wise seemed to be loved as did Gus (first time) Biamou and Jodie Jones were both cult heroes for some but then disliked by others.
I would say Gyok too.

iirc Biamou had a massive goal drought when he first signed for us and things got a bit toxic towards him at one point - He certainly won the majority over in the end mind you

For me its less about the players but the fans it could find. Honestly think if Tats continues this form he'll be in the Japan squad after xmas. And that gets Japanese eyes on him, and us as a club. Along with links to a Japanese ran F1 team and who knows how many shits it may sell?
