We're a laughing stock

I don’t get it really
I keep watching hull get played off the park and picking up results
We need to maximise our good parts and minimise our areas of weakness
When torp and onyeka came on with fresh legs we were so much better protecting our back 4
Grimes and yirenki were so slow getting out

That’s not what club marketing says
Replying to this as i've not seen BSB for ages. Everything ok pal? Didn't there used to be a dropdown called 'members' on here where you could look for people @Nick ?

If we didn't concede that shit goal against Hull you could label the start we have had as fantastic tbh
Us and Hull would be level but for that shithouse goal. The narrative around us and them wouldn't suggest that, I'm hoping we can catch them and shut a few up in the coming weeks. Their owner is a mug and their team i think will get found out, although i really really like the manager, so who knows.

Let's see how they get on away at Arsenal and Man City.

I would assume not great, although Man City may have been booted by then so who knows.

I mean when do they play either Arsenal or Man City probably in the new year, jammy gits.

RIP :(

Most of the early season bed shitting looks a bit silly now doesnt it. Who’d have thought we needed a bit of time to settle down and stop playing away at some of Europes top teams.

The losses have taught players and staff so many lessons.
Arsenal clear your lines
Hull- cant win, then don't lose, a prem point is always a good one.
Man City- Don't take chances you get punished
Brighton- no shape or structure and stand off Prem teams they will destroy you.

Forest and Newcastle we have reserved all the above. We clear our lines, we take out chances and the most important we stick to a structure. If i run 10 yards passed my own player im done, but if he runs 5 and i run 5 to close space i then can cover more over a longer period and be able to compete.

We will lose games by the above or by just by the quality we play against. But keep to the fundamentals as a team and we will make teams work for points. And the longer u stick in games when u dont have control, a chance will always come to potentially take points ourselves.

We keep giving players yards of space outside our area to shoot. We have to get better at closing players down, these players practice everyday at hitting corners without pressure. Rushy has been off it but we cant keep allowing this, teams are not playing through us they are taking pot shots and its working for them. That has to change and Rushy needs to work on that part of hos game.

Agree and Milan is the worst for it.

I wonder if Milan backs off at times, to try and encourage the forward to have a foot race with him, as that is his strength. In fairness to him, several times he had little cover in front of him last night, and it seemed he was trying to slow the player down, waiting for players to get back to help him. Thought we lost our shape for the last 15 - 20 mins last night. Not too downhearted though, as I thought we had them wobbling for a reasonable period after their second. Think Frank needs to work out what his strongest first 11 is asap, though. At least we do have options.

Perhaps part of that but I've been disappointed with Milan this season as thought he would continue to shine in the PL. He makes lots of mistakes and gives the ball away far too often. The second goal is not a foul, he only goes down once the player is past him and the 3rd goal he's just backed off and backed off until he can't back off anymore and the cross comes into the box.

Its also silly things like when he was the only player in our half, the ball is cleared by Spurs really high in the air towards him, completely unmarked and instead of controlling it he's tried to boot it first time, missed kicked it out for a throw which they took quickly and put us under pressure. Madness decision to make.

It is quite possible that some players when "stepping up" are nervous...they constantly have been told that the difference is massive. Playing away in front of 60000 plus may actually be a bit different to playing away in front of 15000 or less. It may take a few players a bit of time to get used to the "pressure". I do think expectaions from many people, especially on here, is way off. There are many aspects to take in and that is why the coaches and support staff are so important. Supporters are just as important !! when things are not going as smoothly as we all wish for and want players NEED support not the constant carping and ridiculous satement of crap..never good enough etc...

Okay Frank, apologies.
