I get that but would rather have a few away fans mixing in than having 1,000+ empty seats because paying £40 or whatever it is to grow our own fan base is more than many can afford to come along for the first time. I always thought the idea of the membership scheme was it being a way to buy tickets early ahead of when your status would allow but it seems to have become a necessity for anyone that has never been before to even get on the ladder. That approach will then adversely impact the ticket exchange too, growing our fan base is key to making CBS a home fortress and underpinning future revenues.

Plenty of opportunity in the last 3 or 4 seasons for people to get on that ladder.

Sorry to put this in this thread but my digital wallet hasn’t updated to the Newcastle ticket although my son’s has. All I’ve got is the Brighton one in expired passes. Previous passes have just updated automatically. On the expired pass I have an option to‘delete’ and’unhide’. If I choose the latter does anyone know if that will return it to my active wallet and update it? TIA.

I think if you go back to your original email and download your ST again it should update

We are now operating in an environment in which you have to grow revenue to move forwards. Having empty seats is a lost opportunity, I'm happy for newcomers to jump on the bandwagon now if it helps my club continue to grow.

Totally support rewarding fan loyalty but it's really short sighted to be managing this in a way whereby effectively any new supporters have to buy a membership in order to buy their first tickets, that's not the way to ensure we have a full crowd at every home game.

As I've said. I know a few who want to go who just can't get a ticket due to this!
I can't get them a ticket either due to them not having an account!!

I know how they feel - I would definitely and I do mean DEFINITELY have swam the channel but I just don’t like water.
In fact I would have done three return journeys non stop but as I have already stated - I don’t like water.
Yeah I know exactly how they feel.

And I would have climbed Everest if it wasn't for Brian Blessed - I can't stand Brian Blessed and he's always fucking well up there.
Otherwise I'd have done Everest as well.
Probably the weekend after the channel as long as City weren't at home. Or away.

I think this is an issue for sure, but we wouldn't even be having this discussion if the prices weren't so eye-watering. We sold out on a Monday night in the Championship in February. We could have sold this, but at £55 for the cheapest available seat it's not happening. I know at lot of semi regulars who have been going to games on and off for a few seasons, but none of them seem to be going Monday. If you're a family it's getting on for a £200 night out and with school and work, people are going to serve it. Should be cat c. Cat a is mental.
 
There are a couple of people in my network who have no purchase history.

They can't buy tickets for Newcastle despite there being loads of seats.

As a ST holder I can buy an additional seat in my name, but can't assign it to them as they have no purchase history!

They are making it hard for genuine people to get tickets (for no reason), despite there being loads available.

I used to be my group's ticket buyer and would log in when seats went on sale to home members, get seats as close to our season ticket seats as possible and assign them to the home members.

I have full management privileges for about 10 people in my network

I tried to do it for Newcastle as soon as they went on sale to home members, but I couldn't even log in.

The home members hadn't all given each other the relevant buying permissionsso it just made it hard to buy.

Its madness.
And given we've had supporters in the home end at all our away fixtures, (lots in the case of Man city), if a few away fans get in the home end so what, its better to get the seats sold.
 
Not really sure how we’re gonna lineup but I’ve got 2 options here for what I wouldnt mind seeing a few players interchangeable, I just dont know who will be preferred

I would be amazed if Onyeka and Grimes don't start. I would like to see more of Torp but lampard seems to have him behind those 2 and Yirenkyi. I expect that EMC and Rudoni will play but I think Simms might get a start here.

Have they taken some tickets off sale?? Ones in block 5 have disappeared but can't imagine they have all sold?
 
Have people had the season ticket change from Brighton to Newcastle yet? Mine hasn't and I am mildly concerned
