You could ask EXACTLY the same questions about the Trust, couldn't you?

How and when were they formed, by who, and what are their rules on membership etc?

How do they claim to represent Coventry fans?

He only want's an organistaion to represent his own views -- there is one already -- it's called ACL.

To clear up my views - and the personal attacks, (the last vestige of the failed argument), made by the SISU brigade.

Actually ACL do not represent my views - i do not want the council and a charity to own the stadium - i want it to be owned by CCFC under good govnership.

The trust does not represent all of my views and i am not a member of - nor in contact with ANY supporters group/ the council/ Higgs or ACL - i am a life long supporter of the Sky Blues - thats all.

Now could you enlighten me to your motives/opinions? i list below a few questions i asked you on another thread.

Couple of questions for you personaly

Do you believe Sisu have CCFC's long term interest at heart?
Do you believe that SISU are doing a good job at running the club? If so what evidence do you have to support this?
Do you believe that SISU have always been open and honest with all their statements to the supporters?
Do you believe that ACL - a not for profit organisation - (the owners of which are governed by legislation and charity commission rules)- would lie and decieve the people of Coventry? And if so what is their motive?

Emotional and immature.

I have answered your questions on another thread.

You've missed a few, it seems.

Yes you could i never said they represent my views - but if they came out with such a stupid statement i would question them as well.

And I'm very happy to answer about the Trust. Sky Blue Trust was relaunched last summer. Membership is open to all, costs £1 (free for under 16s). It's a democratic body with a specific legal standing. The Board members were elected at a meeting last July and their names are on the Trust website - skybluetrust.co.uk. The formal constitution is also on the website and Supporters Direct (the umbrella organisation for Trusts - SD have their own website which is very informative) are advising the Trust on updating the constitution which we're in the process of doing. A new membership leaflet will be published shortly setting out the Trust's aims. The Trust represents its members.

Thanks Michael. Very clear. How many members does the Trust have?

 Did you not read your response to my questioning the SCG or whatever they call themselves?

I have answered your questions on another thread.

Coud you please provide a link to your response?

I asked you clarify your views - how is that either emotional or immature? I like to know who i am debating with and how you have came to those views.

That seems to be your reponse - i am willing to give reasons for my opinions - thats called debate - I have asked questions of peoples views on the running/ownership of Coventry City - and their thinking behind those views - simples realy.

You on the other hand seem to be making personal attacks - transalted into - AVOIDING THE QUESTION AND DEFLECTING THE SUBJECT OF THE DEBATE.

Wow, that's a pretty good number, Michael.

There were fewer than 20 paid up members but it's now up to 800 and new people keep on joining so that figure keeps increasing

I've answered your questions "just so you know why I have those views" - it's hardly my problem you appear to either lack the will or intellectual capacity to respond.

Actually - though it pains me greatly - i must appologise - you have indeed responded to the questions i raised. (though torches little rant is the childish one).

For what it is worth i do not believe that any of the previous clubs owners come out of this with any credit - and indeed it was them that got us into this situation in the first place.

My problem with SISU et al is their lack of integrity and the fact they have made some appalling decisions as owners. I also find it impossible to support owners that i can not only not trust, but do not believe have the clubs interest at heart. They may be "the only game in town" but they can sell up if they wish - at any time.

I am not a fan of the ACL set up - but we need to remember that a charity and a local authority saved the Ricoh by taking out a mortgage to save this football club. They have to pay that Mortgage and they need an income to do so.

Comparing the agreement between ACL and the club to the treaty of versaille is a bit much - but i would say that it was poorly constructed, and it seems there was a complete lack of negotiotion prior to it's inception. That is why a 'realistic' renegotiation should take place.

A new agreement must protect the interests of ACL and their ongoing commitments, mortgage etc. - as well as be fair to CCFC - but i have to say Joy's negotiation style, motives, history and integrity make me feel very uneasy about this company called SISU.

They have an option they can use any time - to sell up and get out of Coventry

It wasn't a rant. I've said before that those of us who don't sit around chanting ACL and singing Kumbaya seems to be grilled fairly regularly on this. A list of questions aimed at us is nothing new. As you will see. Started well before you joined.

"Tim to sell up..." To whom? It's only an option if there's a buyer.

Torch - i accept the point about being grilled - i had it on my very first post on this site.

As regards selling up - SISU must first state their intenton to sell. There will interested parties once the club is up for sale.

I don't have a buyer for my house - but then it's not for sale. If i put it up for sale and state the fact, then i am sure i could find a buyer - i will even throw in a dog/cat and couple of kids if you would like to make an offer.

Well i don't think he's lied - i think he's perhaps used the wrong word. But i'm with grego, i think people have taken it too literally. I know the club are convinced that the council don't want to allow SISU to have any stake in the Ricoh, and i believe this is what Tim was implying when he said veto.

KingH - I forgot to say when posting yesterday would it be possible, given various posts on this, just to ask TF to clarify?

Every club in the country bar a few are up for sale. Why would anyone buy us when we have no assets?

Well SISU did - so Yes if the price is realistic.

Every club in the country may be open to offers - like any business - but up for sale? i dont think so.

Birmingham is -- no takers

This is a very good point. People seem to say you either support the council or SISU.
Well no I am taking a third option Coventry to own their own stadium however ran by trustworthy honest owners.
Hopefully SISU can prove they are that however whilst they don't I can't see how this can happen.

For what is worth you probably won't get direct answers to your questions.

To be fair to Grendel i did get a reply in the other thread. My reason for asking the questions is i wanted to satisfy myself that i wasn't wasting my time speaking to a troll or SISU plant Of some kind.

We do have to accept that there are people who who are as passionate about CCFC as the rest of us, but have different views on the best way forward. As long as they are genuine CCFC supporters i can accept that difference of opinion - even if it is contrary to mine.

I think the problem is Torch you attack someone when they say something you don't agree with. Then when they want to debate with you about it.
You don't really defend your point and address the issues put forward.
The only point I ever think you make is, there is no one else so SISU can do what they like and we must lump it.
