Weird is wanting one of your own players to do shite against the players he will most probably be up against next season.

Ghana are not very good. We should beat them easily. There's a very good chance Coventry....our club....would beat them.

Just try imagining how much of a boost it would give BTA to show he belongs in the Prem. Straight out of the blocks against Arsenal and Manchester City.

I know quite a few, to be fair.

They're born in England. They have have Celtic as their Scottish club. And either support England outright, or want England to do well while also supporting the Republic (and occasionally Northern Ireland).
 
I think its a novelty seeing a couple of our players at a WC, its been a while. By the time the next one comes around we'll have our full starting 11 plus subs in there so no one will give a fuck.

All the die hard try hards falling over eachother to prove how much more Club than country they are.

I'd argue its equally mental for an English Coventry fan to want BTA to have a shit game as it is to want Ghana to win.

Surely to god we all want England to win comfortably but for BTA to play really well.

It's very obvious some just don't get it. It would be to our benefit for BTA to have a confidence boosting game. No matter how well BTA plays the rest of the Ghana side are not very good so England should still win easily. If the worry is BTA might beat England all by himself then England would be shite or BTA world class. We all know the answer to this.

Or maybe some of those who want him to have a shite game are the same people that are saying he won't be good enough in the Prem 🤔

The irrelevance is well off. The World Cup and how BTA gets on next season has absolutely nothing to do with each other.

Get through it physically unscathed, that is literally the only thing that matters.
