Seems like this needs to have its own thread off topic from football to discuss!

The one thing I would say about Clarkson. Is he doesn’t use a persona of being an obnoxious, misogynist bore. He in real life is exactly what his image is

Series 5 out next month! I cant wait!

Do you watch the Kardashians as well and believe it’s a true reflection of a normal family and their day to day lives?

Ill ask again.... have you watched ANY Clarksons Farm? Or just making a judgement based on what you think of him? Though I already know the answer, ill ask again

I’ve met him

Then why would you have such an opinion on something youve not watched any of? Seems odd!

Because it’s a fantasy series like the Kardashian’s- Amazon Prime pay him £10 million a series for it. It’s not farming mate it’s Clarkson creaming on loads of cash

So you cant be paid to do a programme and raise awareness and help others too?

So David Attenborough has worked his entire life for free i assume? Never taken a penny from the BBC as he works completely for the love of teaching people.

Went to the shop one day as was close by.

Huge queue, literally selling jam for silly prices. People were lapping it up.
Yeah, there are better traders around but takes a lot of research to figure out the good ones.

However the vibe at the farm fest was that Clarkson has raised the profile of UK farming and there are others making an impact too.

Even staid old BBC Countryfile seemed quite heavily involved.

"Vibe" 🤮
"Farm fest"

I'm not sure about taking a lot of research to buy some jam or pickles.

Their beer isn't all that either.

Watched some of the series and don't mind it. Preferred the grand tour.

He has a stall in Melbicks garden centre, prices were insane, not that I would have bought anything. Clarkson is a bellend, doesn't listen to anything and comes across as pretty useless prick in the majority of stuff he does.

Yeah I was driving by one day so thought I'd pop in.

Absolutely fucking heaving, massive queues in the shop, massive queue for food. I wandered round for 5 mins and got back in the car and went 😂

It's aimed at people who took pictures at binley mega chippy and queue hours for a jacket potato

Our daughter used to work in a shop in Chippy. When he came in he would always be obnoxious to the staff.
Also when he has some new tv's installed he was asked if he would like to donate the old ones to the Horton Hospital, he refused.
Still not well liked in these parts - but I do like his beer!

He convinced me to buy a wide screen tv… (iykyk)

Just watched a video someone put out, £6.10 for a pint of milk. What kind of dork is buying this stuff at those prices.

A badge that says you got ripped off by a tedious bellend?
The badge that says I can afford to get ripped off by a tedious bellend and not care.

I know somebody who says he will only buy meat and produce etc from a farm shop.

Same person is constantly moaning they have no money. :ROFLMAO:

Anyone else watched yet? Im 3 episodes in. Just carries on from the first 4 series. Very good. As always enjoying it.

Yes just watched the first two episodes, especially liked the guy on top of his bonfire😝
A very enjoyable show, we love it!!

Like the show clarksons is tax evading knob
Fuck taxes. They're a source of grift for the political classes here and abroad financing stuff I despise. Remember £1 billion per mile for HS2, £3 billion for 2 Aircraft carriers ( aircraft cost extra), £5 billion on asylum and immigration, £14 billion overseas aid including some to areas wealthier than poor parts of the UK, £38 billion for Sizewell C.

The NHS gets £3,500 per person yet little or nothing is ever done to manage costs or restrict access to treatments that should be privately funded only and they continually spiral.

As for inheiritance tax that is another frozen threshold that is bringing far too many people into it's clutches and stopping wealth being passed down the generations ( unless you're super wealthy then that are plently of ways to avoid it).

I’d prefer not pay as much if tax if I could.

There’s not a lack of money in this country, it’s just poorly managed and pissed up the wall.

I wouldn't even mind paying tax if stuff worked, but nothing fucking works any more.

Yes, why not. All the rich people have trusts which shelter tax for various reasons.

if you remember Geoffrey Robinson has a family trust.

Neil Kinnock had a trust that avoided inheiritance tax when his wife died.

Tony Blair's finances are 'complex' and involve a so called charitable foundation to use his influence to push policies that vested intests pay for.

The Higgs trust actually does tangible good works.

I am trying to keep my will up to date so I don't pay much inheiritance tax to the government of whatever persuasion as possible and benefit charities I support and I can see do good locally.

Well most of it is in the hands of a select few so I'd suggest that's the place to start looking.

Well PIP is non taxable and doesn’t form part of anyone’s taxable income
