If you got as far as the Herogasm episode, you would remember, trust me.Just finished Animal Kingdom.
Now debating if I go with The Boys or Gamgs of London.
I did start The Boys years ago but can’t remember where u got to so I’d be starting again!
Cracking tv series just dropped on Neflix.
Detective Hole.
Scandi Noir, based on the fifth of the Jo Nesbo`s Detective Harry Hole novels, The Devils Star.
One of his books was turned into a film a while back, The Snowman and even with Michael Fassbender playing Harry Hole it was a mess.
This time they`ve got it just right, Tobias Santelmann is perfect as the brooding, damage, functioning alcoholic, that`s Harry Hole in the books.
Harry Hole hunts down a seemingly satanic serial killer, whilst also investigating his corrupt boss on the sly at the same time.
Great cast, dark as anything and a pretty faithful adaptation of the book ( I`ve read them all ! )
Norwegian with subs.
Great show. And it didn't take 5 years before the second season which seems to be the exception these days.Watched a couple of "your friends and neighbors". It's pretty good so far
I liked that. Guess they'll be a S2.You`re pretty much guaranteed, that if Joel Edgerton is in anything, it`s going to be good and this is no exception.
Jennifer Connelly never seems to get any older either !
Went to see Hail Mary earlier.... Meh

Possibly... I havnt read the book..Iwas expecting it to be abit more serious than it wasGetting real mixed reviews from people who`ve been to see it.
I think having read the book helps ?
Absolutely loved it. Seen it twice now and planning to go again now they've done the directors commentary thing on an app.Getting real mixed reviews from people who`ve been to see it.

We really want to see it. My daughter and step daughter have both seen it and really loved it, so it's definitely on our listAbsolutely loved it. Seen it twice now and planning to go again now they've done the directors commentary thing on an app.
Rotten Tomatoes has it at 94% from critics and 96% from cinema goers so fair to say I'm not the only one!
Would love to see it in IMAX at the BFI but even with all the extra screenings they've been adding, and dumping other films to add more, its near impossible to get tickets that aren't at weird times on weekdays.
Wonder if they've considered doing what US IMAX cinemas are which is pretty much show it 24/7 to try and meet demand.
Kind of crazy how it seems to have caught peoples imagination and far exceeded its targets and predications.
Of course what has the industries take away been from a non-franchise, non-sequel hit? To start talking about a potential sequel and turning it into a franchise![]()
New comedy series 'Rooster' on HBO/NowTV starring Steve Carell.
Went in blind not knowing anything about it, but actually enjoyed the first episode and found it funny.
He'll always be Michael Scott for me now though whatever he plays
It's a really good show, exactly my kind of thing.Still really enjoying this. Seems to have fallen under the radar quite a bit and I've seen barely any marketing, but it's worth watching.
Really funny and wholesome
Watched the first two episodes of The Boys today , chaotic
I enjoyed it.Good chaotic or bad chaotic ?
Yes sorry Jim Really goodGood chaotic or bad chaotic ?
A full week of binging lies ahead for you.Watched the first two episodes of The Boys today , chaotic
Scrubs reboot is fantastic and just like the original series. Not often you can say that about a reboot
Yeah it's brilliant isn't it? Love how they always blend comedy with the more emotional moments.Have been putting this off as I thought it would be a crappy cash grab, but watched 5 episodes in a row yesterday.
Really good, and properly catches the old format. The new characters aren't too annoying either.
Purposely avoided casting spoilers so far but I'm hoping the Janitor returns at some point
I was Scrubs obsessed during my young adulthood and yeah, it's been pretty great. Definitely feels like they've managed to take the essence of old-school Scrubs and bring it into 2026. I love that the classic characters are acting their age and dealing with the tribulations that come with it rather than just going through the same stuff they did before, and that the newer characters stand on their own without being a rehash of what's already happened.Have been putting this off as I thought it would be a crappy cash grab, but watched 5 episodes in a row yesterday.

Last episode of Shrinking was brilliant TV. That should have been it as the original plan was for 3 seasons but its so popular its coming back for more.
Not sure how they'll work that, without giving anything away the final episode pretty neatly tied everything up and didn't really leave an obvious jumping on point for the next season.
