Just finished Animal Kingdom.
Now debating if I go with The Boys or Gamgs of London.
I did start The Boys years ago but can’t remember where u got to so I’d be starting again!

I watched ‘Good luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die’. It’s sort of like a funnier/mad cap version of ‘Edge of Tomorrow’/‘Terminator…maybe even a bit like ‘Ground Hog Day’ which I think gets referenced in the film….This time the enemy is Artificial Intelligence.
A commentary on our social media, screen obsessed society…whilst also warning of the dangers for us and our future reliance on AI tech.
Worth a watch id say. It’s a decent Sci-Fi and Sam Rockwell is great as per usual. You’ll see the ‘twist’ coming a mile off but that’s alright.

Great show. And it didn't take 5 years before the second season which seems to be the exception these days.
Bizzarly the second season was shot while Aimee Carrero was heavily pregnant and rather than the usual trick of just trying to hide it with camera shots and angles they've digitally removed the bump. Which is either way easy and cheaper to do than I think or an insanely expensive and complicated way of doing things!
If you like that give Bad Monkey a go if you haven't already.

Finished season two of Jury Duty yesterday. It's an utterly wonderful show; the concept is difficult to describe but brilliant in execution. It's essentially like a reverse Borat, the main character is a real person who believes that they're taking part in a standard documentary but every person around them is an actor playing a character and the events are scripted, with the script being part-improvised. The first season takes place in a jury, the second on a company retreat. The show is equal parts hilarious and heartwarming, the actors surrounding the centre are to a person wonderful. It's on Prime and I cannot recommend it more

Decent creepy low budget film, with a very good mixed British and American cast.
Set in WW2, an American submarine picks up a handful of survivors from a British hospital boat, that`s been torpedoed.
Once they get on board, strange things start to happen, which lead to unexplained and strange deaths and the sailors strart to believe that the submarine is cursed. Which in turn makes them all start to turn each other, ratcheting up the paranoia, suspense and tension on board.
I`d worked the ending out about half way through, but the most impressive thing about the film, was the way they used, the dark, enclosed and claustrophobic interior of the sub to maximum effect, to ramp up the suspense and creepiness of what was going on. It really does work and gets you on the edge of your seat.
It`s done by the director, who did Pitch Black and reminded me very much of an underwater version of the very disturbing sc fi classic, Event Horizon.
Considering it never made it to the cinema and went straight to downloads, it`s a decent little film.
It`s floating around on some of the freeview channels, so keep an eye out for it.

Absolutely loved it. Seen it twice now and planning to go again now they've done the directors commentary thing on an app.
Rotten Tomatoes has it at 94% from critics and 96% from cinema goers so fair to say I'm not the only one!
Would love to see it in IMAX at the BFI but even with all the extra screenings they've been adding, and dumping other films to add more, its near impossible to get tickets that aren't at weird times on weekdays.
Wonder if they've considered doing what US IMAX cinemas are which is pretty much show it 24/7 to try and meet demand.
Kind of crazy how it seems to have caught peoples imagination and far exceeded its targets and predications.
Of course what has the industries take away been from a non-franchise, non-sequel hit? To start talking about a potential sequel and turning it into a franchise

Have been putting this off as I thought it would be a crappy cash grab, but watched 5 episodes in a row yesterday.
Really good, and properly catches the old format. The new characters aren't too annoying either.
Purposely avoided casting spoilers so far but I'm hoping the Janitor returns at some point

Yeah it's brilliant isn't it? Love how they always blend comedy with the more emotional moments.
I don't know casting but I think before the season started they said he might be in S2 if the show is successful. I'm not sure if that changed and they bring him back for last few episodes though.

Last episode of Shrinking was brilliant TV. That should have been it as the original plan was for 3 seasons but its so popular its coming back for more.
Not sure how they'll work that, without giving anything away the final episode pretty neatly tied everything up and didn't really leave an obvious jumping on point for the next season.

I was Scrubs obsessed during my young adulthood and yeah, it's been pretty great. Definitely feels like they've managed to take the essence of old-school Scrubs and bring it into 2026. I love that the classic characters are acting their age and dealing with the tribulations that come with it rather than just going through the same stuff they did before, and that the newer characters stand on their own without being a rehash of what's already happened.
Latest is a proper old-school Scrubs tearjerker, god damn

Really enjoyed this season, and like you say, you can tell it was supposed to wrap up well.
Apparently S4 will feature a time jump (so could be a couple of years away). Glad it's been renewed. Love it
