Always thought this, if you have an aspiring young manager or someone whos stepping up from a lower league then it makes sense to bring them on board as an advisor. At 78 its a bit short termism unless as the BCFC fans think he will be the man thats going to be their new director of football.The game is silly really, why on earth are clubs appointing people in their late 70s? What other industry would do that?
