Did anybody see people being interviewed at a Wrexham game about who they would support if they didn't support Wrexham. I think only one said it's only Wrexham, the others all had other teams 🤣

Why would you even ask that question though?
By watching it you're just encouraging the whole load of nonsense.
Same as people listening to those two pillocks doing the commentary and then moaning about it.

I can't remember where it was. It was non Wrexham fans clearly trolling but the Wrexham fans were oblivious.

Thought you were on about on Sky.
I just ignore the whole thing, unless what they're doing involves us or affects us I've no interest.
The ones that say they hate fawning over Hollywood celebs seem to be obsessed with them so much they can't focus on their own team

Can't be coincidence these posters all seem to be younger than me

I moaned about those 2 twats doing the commentary of the Wrexham v Swansea game but I didn't watch it - we all knew days beforehand they were doing it,hence the moaning

Do you think Americans would've watched a tv show about a non league football club without Reynolds and McElhenney's faces all over it?

No I do not. You’re so close to grasping the very basic point I’m making. Keep going kiddo you’ll get there.

It's a bit like people going on opposition message boards and getting angry about what they read.
I mean, if people enjoy doing that, then great, I just find it a bit strange.

It's like when they make an announcement before a TV programme that it contains a certain type of content, people watch it and then complain about the content they were warned about!

Watford still in with an outside chance of 6th.
Hope they make it.

Said all along I 'get' the Wrexham thing to an extent, its kind of unique. Birmingham, who should be a bigger club, trying to piggy back on it, make a weird rivalry and becoming like a temu Wrexham when its not even a remotely similar situation is beyond embarrassing.

Still find it a bit cringe and I really hope they don't go up, although all the other options are looking like a shower of wankers too at this point. Also they would absolutely spunk their wad if they went up, probably spend double what we would.

On the Wrexham forum there is a section "for new fans", filling them in about the history, etc.

Wonder if Nick will have to create a similar section on SBT if we go up? We might have lots of new fans.

What are good results purely for us? I'm guessing we want as many teams in the play-off race as possible, all taking points of each other, especially if they've already played us, with Watford sadly missing out with only 1 game to go...

A win for Millwall first. They're in 4th and level on points with Ipswich and Ipswich have a game in hand. Let the weakest positioned club win each time. And we are 3 wins plus GD of 29 ahead of Millwall. If not then a draw.

This is an interesting graffic:

Shows a trend of current xGD against season long PPG. So trends upwards and rightwards are good. Downwards and leftwards bad.

You said Wrexham genuinely grew their revenues. How is their growth any more genuine than an owner just pumping in money?

Because it's organic growth.

Reynolds and McElhenney have leveraged their own personal brands and connections to develop Wrexham into a very advertisable entity.

Over half (52.1%) of its £26.7m revenue (year ending June 2024) originates from outside Europe, with most of that coming from North America.

Global brands want to get involved with Wrexham because it provides huge exposure to a growing audience.

That's vastly different from owners such as Marinakis just chucking organised crime money in.

Because like it or not the revenue comes voluntarily from third parties

Again, it’s not Wrexham doing it is it though. They could’ve picked basically any club and done the same. There is nothing about Wrexham itself that has driven that growth, as you say it’s just a vehicle for the owners to grow their brand.

I lose my head when Leam and Warwick get tickets. It'd be on fucking Mars if I couldn't go to a game and some nonce from the 'Coventry City Albuquerque Sky Blues' turned up because we we had a documentary.
