Isn’t this related to the guy who thinks immigrant children are “chemical weapons sent by Talmudic Jews”?

Anyway - not sure this “news network” is that reputable a source….

It's going perfectly at the moment for speculators and one side doesn't appear to know what the others plans.
Quite easy really, anything that damages economies, damages China, and propels the biblical story!
Job done for now!

The whole AI revolution scares me, society could go through a really disruptive period where masses of jobs go and there is much unrest. I perhaps will not live long enough to for it to effect me badly but anyone under 55 is likely to

My thinking for younger people is look at jobs that are the most difficult to automate.

That was your takeaway from the screenshot?!

What do you mean he 'missed it'?

Obviously that person is in serious trouble, and rightly so.

I thought the original news source was not very reliable

Despite the new mayor of NYC seeming to have missed this incident, this individual is most likely going to be in serious trouble.

He physically ‘missed’ the event but has commented.

FFS. DoJ have been building this case for years over multiple administrations.

Will be a long time, if ever, before this is back on the table.

And you can be sure they will now go full steam ahead with things like dynamic pricing in other countries.

What do you mean missed it? Don't get much politics coming up on my twitter feed these days as its so easy to train the algorithm since they fucked it a few months back but the first I knew about it was his tweet saying it was reprehensible.

Didn't he make out it was a white supremacist?

Nope, think you're getting the bomber mixed up with Jake Lang.

I'm not getting anybody mixed up

It's the old "IT WOZ THE FAR RIGHT" distraction it seems. Nothing shows unity more than somebody being charged with trying to set off a bomb but it's all about the white supremacist.

Not really upset but your reading comprehension isn't the best today.
Which of my other posts have been bothering you Nick?

It seems to me that given the guys throwing bombs have been hit with terror charges and have been called “even more disturbing” by the mayor than the people protesting against his religion outside his house, that the NYC authorities seem to have their priorities in order….but it seems you disagree?

Can't figure out if you are purposely trying not to see the point? If you just read that you would have no idea, would you?

As far as I can tell from that tweet by the mayor, he' saying there was a protest by white supremacists outside his residence because of the mayors ethnicity and religion, which is abhorrent. He then says other people tried to maim/kill those protestors with some form of explosive and that this was much worse than the protest. Which it is.

So he's saying the persons throwing the bomb are worse than the racists there to protest against him because of his skin colour and religion. Racists bad, terrorists worse. Or are we saying we shouldn't mention that the people were there because they were on a racist protest? I assume next time the police are heavy handed against protestors I assume you'll be happy for the media to ignore if they're part of Just Stop Oil or Greenpeace?

Perhaps the story "Man who raped and killed numerous women kills again" would get a different reaction from you to "Man who raped and killed numerous women kills Ian Huntley". It's the same story but the information missed out is quite important I think you'll agree.

He doesn't say it was a counter protestor, he doesn't say terrorist either.

Again, people want to try hard to miss the point. It's weird but no surprise.

No surprise people are trying to portray a Muslim mayor as a terrorist sympathiser either. Bloke wants universal childcare in NYC, what a dick?

He has done that himself. This is another one that isn't really a great look either, let's be honest.

Have you got the post she liked celebrating Hamas?

The article in that tweet links to another NYP article which links to the Jewish Insider which shows a picture of a post of a bulldozer knowing down a wall and the caption
As all eyes around the world focus on Palestine, keep in mind that these walls were built to separate along ethnic
lines, the very definition of apartheid.
Gaza has been aptly described as the world's largest and longest-standing open air prison, for millions of people who have committed no crime and have had no trial.
Access to and from Gaza is nearly impossible, and most residents are violently forbidden from visiting family outside Gaza, rebuilding their homes, fishing or farming, being employed or doing business outside Gaza, or even
crossing outside the walls.
Nearly 40% of Gaza's population lives in poverty —isolated and segregated, intentionally kept in poverty, blockade, occupation, and often, heavy military attack. Over half of the population of Gaza are children: if and when the occupation forces retaliate against this resistance, this is the
population who will be punished.

Remember when DOGE was going to eliminate wasteful spending.

Some of the frivolous September purchases made under Secretary Pete Hegseth’s stewardship include a $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano for the Air Force chief of staff’s home, $5.3 million for Apple devices such as the new iPad, and an astronomical amount of shellfish, including $2 million for Alaskan king crab and $6.9 million worth of lobster tail. (Lobster tail is apparently a favorite of Hegseth’s Pentagon—the department spent more than $7.4 million total on the luxury item in March, May, June, and October.)

In other pricey food purchases, the government decided to drop $15.1 million for ribeye steak (again, just in September), $124,000 for ice cream machines, and $139,224 on 272 orders of doughnuts.
