The ayatollah?
Far too early for that shitBrilliant. USA USA
Trump just announced Khamenei is dead.
Seems like the US are keeping a level head in all this
Iran American bases.Who’s bombing those countries
Top analysis hereWho cares? Are you sad if he’s dead?
Why do you care if its not in the UK?Who cares? Are you sad if he’s dead?
My best man and his family in Iran care.Who cares? Are you sad if he’s dead?

Most Iranians will also not want Israel and the US to dictate who runs their country.is it not the case that most Iranians want the regime gone?

You're trying your best to be mischievous again, but the Iranians I'm speaking to aren't so much mourning the Ayatollah as they are not wanting Israel to decide who runs the country. Which is quite fair enough. They are still mainly on the streets praising Trump now. I’m sure that irks you but that seems what’s being reported?
Judging the merits of a massive military operation by how happy or sad certain people are at a leader’s death is the kind of analysis you’d expect from a 10 year-old.They are still mainly on the streets praising Trump now. I’m sure that irks you but that seems what’s being reported?

What Trump has done is wildly illegal by the way and yet another thing he should be impeached for.

Wow, well if Laura “Kuensberg” says so!With respect the whole reaction on here is kindergarten stuff. So why not join in.
Oddly also it’s the first question Kuensberg has asked all the guests on her show!
Guess you should demand she leaves and get a certain heavyweight expert journalist from somewhere in Essex to take over!
People in Libya were delighted about Gaddafi's deathIm not. On the kuensberg show they have an Iranian journalist on the show and she admits she’s genuinely pleased he’s dead.
Guess she’s in the minority

It’s a natural question to ask, but using it as your sole barometer of whether this action is a good or a bad thing is primary school levels of analysis
This is quite literally incredible.Clearly events in the Middle East have direct consequences in the uk - both financially and security wise.
It’s why if it happens you hope it moves swiftly and does not drag on into a long conflict.
Kindergarten?!
I do not care for the Epstein filesI think one gem is Trump is attacking Iran to deflect from the Epstein files
Well if I guess if you’re used to watching the Jeremy Vine show she must seem like a heavyweightWell I guess if you think she’s a 10 year old fair enough. She’s asked it to Zack Polanski - he seems less keen
who actually are the 'goodies' here?
I don't see how the State of Israel which has murdered nearly 100,000 people and openly admitted the desire to carry out ethnic cleansing shares our values any more than Iran does.Certainly not the ones that chanted ‘death to England’ last year
There’s no real goodies in the world. It’s unfortunately not that simple. But if you’ve got to ‘pick a side’ I’d always go with the one that shares more of our values and beliefs and doesn’t despise our way of life etc and that’s not the Islamic Republic of Iran
Between this kind of stuff and “people are celebrating so the war is good” I feel like we’re on some kind of 2003 speedrun. Amazing how quickly the nuance disappears. But if you’ve got to ‘pick a side’ I’d always go with the one that shares more of our values and beliefs and doesn’t despise our way of life etc
its fair to be worried what comes next tho just hop it turns out ok and if not we dont decide people running away are all rapistsCertainly not the ones that chanted ‘death to England’ last year
