We are effectively 6 points clear now of 3rd due to Boro having to play Ipswich
0.46 points per game
As many points as it was per game before the start of our slump !!
Well that's a bugger because at the moment we're 9 clear of 3rd with a superior difference so effectively 10.

Interesting question where the line is though. Wrexham and Man City are one end, us under Sisu the other. Is Steve Gibson OK? Doug King? The Stoke owners? How much money do you have to put in before you’re distorting the market? Ain’t no one running a sustainable club at this level.

I’d be content with a rich club owner for us that isn’t an American or a murderer. Both of the latter is where I draw the line.

(No offence intended to that YouTuber that supports us, I’m sure he’s great.)

Every game in our league this midweek has consequences either top or bottom of the league. Take tomorrow night Ill probably watch Middlesborough v Leicester if it's on but if those six figered lot go 2 down eariy on might switch to Hull v Derby. There again any game thats on should be a good watch.Just wondered anyone elses prefered watch.
Enjoy the ride.

Probably going to watch The Detectorists tomorrow night and then look at the scores before bed.

As an aside, a CCFC documentary from about 2016 onwards would have been wild.
Would have been more watchable than any Wrexham shite, the only problem is it would be counted as absolute fiction. Some people just don't get how big our rise from near ashes has been. That's why I've been relaxed about our 'wobble' we've had. Been punching above our weight for years and we continue to improve. Watching clubs go up then back down nearly £200m richer each year is difficult to comprehend.

Fair question, I’d put Stoke in the not OK camp just because of how their owners got their wealth. Doug King has been a real cheapskate by Championship standards, I have no real issue with Steve Gibson either.

I want football ownership and fan culture in general to be more like how it is in Germany, I’ve made no secret of that. Stuff like reserve teams in the main pyramid can piss off of course, but cheaper tickets, healthier crowds and a pretty good standard of football too.

People who played manager games as a kid and gave themselves billions to spend had fun for a while, I sure did. Then it got a bit boring after a while as the final outcome was never in doubt. I’m sure Wrexham and Birmingham will go up within the next few seasons, but it won’t mean a fraction as much to them as it will to me if we manage it without having taken the absolute piss.

I think robins worked very well with the previous owners of the club.

They worked together perfectly

They are both now gone

He did a great job lets be honest ..its just the truth .

However much english fans dislike maradona many think hes the greatest footballer of all time

Sometimes you just have to admire what people achieve , like them or not

Their best chance will be this season or next for Wrexham and Birmingham. Once they're in their 3rd season in the Championship they will have to be careful of the FFP rules and be against the teams with the Prem payments at the same time. Wolves look like they're coming down in a bad way but the other 2 sides could come down quite strongly.

He’s backed himself into a corner having demanded the sack for most of the seasons he was here. Commitment to the contrarian act is admirable though.

Answer the question.

I have. Sappella and Robins got on.

I think as a manager he’s pretty limited on his own. He would have gone if we’d not got promoted through league two and it was luck and chance we did

He’s really an old fashioned manager. He needs a strong person beside him and without him he started to fail badly.

The interesting thing is his best years were with clubs who played at grounds they were exiled to

So why don’t you admit if we had a billion investment 25 years ago by a dodgy Saudi investor and went straight back up and never looked back you wouldn’t care less about any clubs being “denied promotion”

FFS Wrexham aren’t breaking any rules and Birmingham won’t either if it comes to it

What was the luck and chance? The fact we won the play offs?

Well oddly I don’t think Nick was arguing about the ref on those occasions. So of course there was luck involved

Ok so the luck was we got some refereeing decisions?

You don't get promoted over a season by luck.

We finished in league two outside the top 3 - he’d have been fired if we didn’t make it

Would you like to point out where anyone have said they have or is this just your normal deflection?

You said they’d have to be careful after 3 seasons? Why?

So winning the play offs is luck. OK.

We lost through a Dabo penalty mate. Pretty unlucky and arbitrary but I guess ironically you believe that’s a management fail?
