Can’t wait for this game, I’ll be honest I thought we’d just have to turn up against Oxford and that was the game to turn things around, game was flat crowd was flat, tomorrow just sorts itself, huge game, slight underdogs. Just how we like it
God, hope so

Although if we lose tomorrow, this place will be in meltdown, we will still not be out of the auto race. Huge game tomorrow, but even a win doesn't determine the outcome. I just want to get past the Sheff Utd game, having had a 'reasonable' return of points from the next 3. Think we'll kick on from there.
If we lose tomorrow, I am going to camp out in the wilds for a week, with no signal.

We’re going to win tomorrow.
It’s so obvious as well - in this current world of the only thing that matters is the last result - had the entirety of social media saying we’re shite and Boro are the greatest team the championship have ever seen - everybody flipping after the next game will be hilarious.

It’s such a classic Cov 3-1 Boro game.

If you’re going tomorrow, just give it that little bit extra, he’s right , when we’re together the CBS is brilliant,
The fans do react to what's on the pitch though. When we play like we are 4-0 up with no urgency against 10 man Oxford and it's nil nil then fans get annoyed.

Looking forward to it being fans fault if we are losing and they leave.

if We’re losing 1-0 Monday with 10 mins to go and fans are leaving I’m not sure you can defend that, Ipswich game was embarrassing, first bad game and the place emptied after 80 mins, hope we don’t turn into one of those teams, need to support them no matter what, Oxford game the players and fans got what they deserved, unfortunately our atmosphere depends on singers corner, if they’re not up for it that’s what happens, don’t think we’ll have that problem Monday,

I won't be leaving early.

It depends on what happens in the game and the manner of losing. If we are 2 nil down and we are basically waving a white flag passing it back to rushworth, then people will leave.

I never leave early, I'm a supporter....and the team needs supporting during the difficult times.

There's something else in this mind even when we've mullered them they employ it, just makes me want to get out of there.

know what you mean but we don’t get many games like that, sometimes it’s on the crowd to lift them, fair play to Lampard in that interview, could have easily said the crowd was quiet and didn’t help, he said the opposite. It’s up to the players to get the crowd going,

Onyeka will make a huge difference in that midfield is feel. Will give the ball to players in uncomfortable positions and its down to the likes of rudoni to flourish with it. Also feel grimes needs to just hold his position more. Feel this is the game where it starts clicking back into place but it will be a test of the players mentality. Lamps has had a good chunk of time on the training pitch with the players since oxford so hopefully we do see the change we all want to see 🙏

There’s been a lot of focus on the last 16 games or whatever in terms of drop off. Yup not great and it’s been debated to death now.

I’m more interested in our last 5 games

2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. 1.4ppg

We just need a tweak to get that to about 1.7ppg and we’re on track.

Completely doable.
Exactly, doesn‘t need Much, home forms fine anyway, you’ll always get games like Oxford, and away won’t take much to turn around

Hopefully the tank will make a significant difference but let's wait until we actually see him in the team!
But we also need Lampard to change tactics especially re the wingbacks getting so far out of position forward. The tank can't cover the amount of space they leave out wide. We need more control and intelligence from them.

Agree with that, need Rudoni and wright to step now, been carrying them too long, onyeka will Only make us better and as poor as wev‘e been recently just can‘t see us losing this one, think even a draw will be disappointing, monday night under the lights in front of packed house, bring it on, although I said the same before the Ipswich game 😂

Onyeka in the team changes the dynamics completely. Grimes can get back to playing his game well and Tank as a box to box helps to drive the play up the pitch.
It definitely should alter the way we play a little and make us more solid.

Think we have been crying out for a bit more steel

Just watching Oxford v Sunderland and they have not setup a low block against them like they did against us! Showed us a lot of respect by the look of it

Asante, EMC and Onyeka to come in, how many teams can add that quality to the team with 15 games to go, gives us a huge boost

We certainly need BTA back, assuming that he can rediscover his early season form.

I think he returns for the game against the Blades doesn’t he?

West Brom. Set up nicely for him
Not according to the BBC:-
"Thomas-Asante will now miss the Sky Blues' home games against Oxford and Middesbrough on 7 and 16 February respectively, as well as the trip to former club West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, 21 February."

He was banned for the QPR match after Norwich, so Oxford and Boro will be his 3 matches done. I remember there was some chatter he was going to be available for QPR and would serve the three matches after but that wasn't th case.

Just read the blurb and it's usually a two game, but as it's us.
