We ARE in a good position. We are literally top of the tree.

However we might not be in a good 'place', which is different.

The King Power is toxic at the moment, to suggest similar for Saturday is laughable and overly dramatic, but no surprise.
Position still good, momentum and morale shocking though, especially away. Plus you have to say we haven’t really played that well since Bristol City.

What did he say?
Said didn't win second balls and it's not for want of trying with these players but pressure etc

Says he always knew how fragile a lead could be and now it's time to go from here till end of season

Says no point crying. It's clear we are in a bad spell but feeling sorry for ourselves won't help.

Says we're in a. Great psoition and shouldn't forget that should take confidence from it

We need a real effort on Saturday to push the players forward but we also need a bit from them, we need to play in the opposition half and force them into mistakes this pissing about at the back going left and right is getting us nowhere now, we need to get the ball into the opposition box far more than we are.

Its like we expected to lose. And were shocked to score. It was that bad.

I’m so fucking pissed off with them. No positives to cling to for weeks. We got lucky v Leicester and Millwall.
The lack of fight and passion is alarming Oxford will fight for everything next week and will score 💯 will we?
If we lose to Oxford I think there's a chance that King might make a managerial change. I know it seems wild, but that would be a real low point. This is possibly a once in a generation opportunity to get out of this league. If we don't go up this year we could spiral a bit. If you look at the teams likely to come down, plus the parachute teams like Southampton who should be stronger next year, and the like of Wrexham & Birmingham going for it - will be very difficult to get top 6 next year.

Yep. Been quite calm up till now.

fucking panic button pressed. Biggest concern, and the general player malaise is worrying…..Lampard et al - same pattern for weeks, everyone can see it, he must, he’s not stupid, yet here we are? Bat shit mental stuff….. how has Woolfenden for example not got game when the pair of them are just calamity double act.
The midfield is just a mess

felt so sorry for Simms today, utter shit punted at his waist, idiot behind demanding he kill it dead - yet he will be a scape goat.

God we are in a hole……..

Nah, rest assured we'll give you the boost in morale that you need🤣

We have more confidence in mirroring your early season run by beating the Blades, then winning our next 5 on the bounce (right before we get beat by Bristol City of course, another hoodoo) after we face you, than we have of getting ANYTHING at the CBS.

If that’s what the pressures doing to the fans imagine how it’s getting to the players, just hope it doesn’t feed down to them at home, its what’s keeping us going, team need us more than ever now, there’s no ,point just sitting there in silence and moaning,

Ipswich & Hull playing midweek too. Possibly going to be a very slender lead come next weekend.
OR they fail to win and then lose next weekend and Boro have to squirm waiting to play sheff utd Monday and lose and then they lose to us and in 2 weeks time were clear at the top and big gap to third!

You'll beat us, don't worry about that. We're really, really shit at the moment.

Can’t see King doing that but I couldn’t see him sacking Robins when he did.

So close but yet too far . No cigar . This will go down as the most embarrassing season and put us back 5 years if we don’t get promoted. I personally think we will miss out on current form. I hope I’m wrong..please let me be wrong!

There’s no bollocks for me. Promotion teams have experience to get them over the line, premier league experience. Those two centre halves were absolutely bullied today by a centre forward who didn’t shy away from anything. Frank delivers the message and style but we need leadership at centre half an older statesman that has been there and done it. So tepid today and so typically city. Wipe the slate and go again, sure, but these group of players have to stand up and be counted or else it’s done.

My biggest worry here is Lampard seems to be experiencing absolute head loss. Southampton, the complete lack of tactical response, losing his head at mild normal interview questions.

Sounds mental but if behind the scenes he doesn’t seem any more together King might have to to rescue the season. If we end up in the POs I’ve not faith in him getting us through given his record.

Read the comments mush. Utterly, utterly over the top. I am happy actually. We’re top. We’re challenging for the title in the most competitive league in the world. A few away defeats arent going to turn me into a illogical blancmange.
The last 12 games we are 14th in form whilst our rivals are 1/2 and 3 , its only going one way
