I wouldn't need one, thanks. I'd have already finished hearing the news.If that happens I’ll give out the SBT hand jobs.
It doesn't, no.As he is only 19, I am assuming this doesnt help with freeing up a squad place
Bedwetter!!!Bit worrying we’re putting eveything on that back 4 to get us promoted, scare the life out of me,
Bedwetter!!!
Thats the spirit!!yeah, we’ll be fine, we’ll soon be battering teams 5-3

I dont think it’s our defensive record that’s kept us top, we’ve conceded 3 less than Oxford in 23rd, anyway hopefully won’t matter when we start twatting teams again, starting SaturdayYeah absolute fluke they’ve kept us top for 20 consecutive games. Frank needs to get rid ASAP.

Not that they’re entirely blameless, but our frankly kamikaze game tactics may also be a contributing factor.Bit worrying we’re putting eveything on that back 4 to get us promoted, scare the life out of me,
Maybe being a bit harsh on them, but when the goals were flying in it did paper over the cracks at the back, cut the daft mistakes out and they’ll be ok, I hopeOnly 4 teams have conceded less, so I think they play their part
Fair point, great when it works thoughNot that they’re entirely blameless, but our frankly kamikaze game tactics may also be a contributing factor.
It requires us to have much more energy in the side and to not give the ball away quite so easily high up the pitch.Fair point, great when it works though
We’ve def dropped off the last month, pressing is nowhere near where it was, need Asante back at it he was brilliant at starting the press from the front, everyone else just followed, you see one doing it they all do it,It requires us to have much more energy in the side and to not give the ball away quite so easily high up the pitch.
Agree, and we really do give the ball away in very unfortunate parts of the pitch. We’ve def dropped off the last month, pressing is nowhere near it was, need Asante back at it he was brilliant at starting the press from the front,
Been very unlike us the last month, silly mistakes even grimes giving the ball away, Simon Jordan on talk sport got it bang on, “ they’ve won their last 2 out of 3 haven’t they, Ipswich had a bad run at the start, so did mboro wer’e having a little one , convinced we come out of if, always liked him , tells it as it isAgree, and we really do give the ball away in very unfortunate parts of the pitch.
I’m not saying you are, but I think there’s a fair bit of people trying to convince themselves it will all be fine, but not really succeeding.Been very unlike us the last month, silly mistakes even grimes giving the ball away, Simon Jordan on talk sport got it bang on, “ they’ve won their last 2 out of 3 haven’t they, Ipswich had a bad run at the start, so did mboro wer’e having a little one , convinced we come out of if, always liked him , tells it as it is
How encouraging. I'm very pleased you don't work on one of my teams. A team that lacks leadership and experience? Really? I blame that youngster Grimes who is new to captaincy.I’m not saying you are, but I think there’s a fair bit of people trying to convince themselves it will all be fine, but not really succeeding.
As a team we look nervy, unconvincing. Boro look the total opposite as do Ipswich at home. We have a team that really lacks leadership and any experience of being promoted from this division. Boro have a bit of it and Ipswich have a lot.
My gut feeling honestly is we don’t get this done and end up 3rd or 4th.

Woolfy does. But hes clearly 4th choice atm. Bamford does, but we let him go elsewhere squabbling over a few extra quid in wages.Read in full. Experience of promotion from this division. Nobody has it.
And also I’m not sure, and I might be wrong, how much the amount of encouraging (or lack thereof) you do on this forum has on the performance of the team.Read in full. Experience of promotion from this division. Nobody has it.
But our defensive record isn't the sole responsibility of our defendersI dont think it’s our defensive record that’s kept us top, we’ve conceded 3 less than Oxford in 23rd, anyway hopefully won’t matter when we start twatting teams again, starting Saturday
The 2 goals Monday, kitching gave the ball away and Thomas just switched off, that’s basic defending, cost us at least a point, 2nd goal v Birmingham, Thomas switches off again, there’s plenty more, you’re allowed to make mistakes but when you keep making the same ones, and it’s not just him, we need to sort itBut our defensive record isn't the sole responsibility of our defenders
In recent weeks we've often allowed the opposition a counter attack with only 3-4 players (CBs, Grimes and maybe a fullback) behind the ball defending.
It’s a bit silly in any case. I’m saying what I think will happen based on what I’ve seen and it’s my gut feeling. We don’t look like a team that believes it can get over the line, we do look really nervy. And also I’m not sure, and I might be wrong, how much the amount of encouraging (or lack thereof) you do on this forum has on the performance of the team.
Unless there’s something you’re not telling us…

The Bamford non signing has come back to haunt us.Woolfy does. But hes clearly 4th choice atm. Bamford does, but we let him go elsewhere squabbling over a few extra quid in wages.

An equivalent to Bamford but at the back would have been tremendous.

We need prime des walker and Virgil van dijk to play in that back 4,An equivalent to Bamford but at the back would have been tremendous.
