The first statement is incorrect because Eccles, Sakamoto and Rudoni have missed more games. Haji Wright has played less minutes too, there's probably others. In any case, Torp is on course to comfortably surpass 2.5k minutes this season, so does your point become redundant if he hits 2.8-3k minutes this season? The sample size is also only 1 full season so you're jumping to conclusions.
Sakamoto only just surpassed 2.5k (2,588) minutes last season and I'm not seeing anyone question whether or not he can hack it in England.
No because he’s literally not playing 90 mins right now because of his lack of fitness and has had several periods out of the team already. If you don’t think we need another option fine but I suspect Lampard does.
