I think Mini will start tonight. Frank was always on about managing minutes with EMC during 3 games weeks. I think Mini starts and if we are winning maybe even stays on for the 90. If we are drawing or losing at 60 EMC will come on to try and turn the tide. Then back to EMC starting against Norwich next Monday.

This is an absolutely vital game and we need our strongest team straight at it.
Millwall are no mugs and we have an improving Norwich to follow. QPR Will want revenge too. Every bloody game is a mini cup final now.
Saka surely demonstrated why he should be in the team.

Saka has maybe raised his game due to competition for his slot

you always want your stongest team but have to manage risk of injury from playing when fatigued and if your best players are slightly tired you might go for someone who has the extra % energy to press a bit more/ be bit quicker to track back etc.

Quite a risk to start YMH against a strong Millwall team in a vital game. Give EMC 55-60 mins and then make the change. We have a 6 day rest after tonight. Sakamoto would be the more obvious starter (over Esse) Don't think you can start Wright over Simms. Frank already dropped big Ellis after one average performance (at Ipswich) when he was scoring. Haji came back in and didn't do anything. Possibly Torp's worst game this season on Saturday, and looked rusty. Eccles stepped up when he came on, but I would be tempted to leave Torp in for tonight. Eccles always does well off the bench I've noticed. For all of Lati's battling qualities, I am still unconvinced he's a CB in a back 4. I would play The Woolf tonight for that extra height and physical presence.

I would definitely play the Wolf tonight. Watched Millwall highlights against Watford and the number of crosses they put in within the 5 minutes it showed was incredible. Thought Esse was great in glimpses and a step above anyone on the pitch skill wise. But he lost the ball a few times too easily and needed a bit more physicality. Having said that tats can be the same . I'd probably give Esse 60 mins then send on tats but think Frank will do it the other way round . Only other change he may consider is Eccles for Torp.

Lati actually used to be decent in the air when he played a lot previously

Having read some of the comments around the loan switch, from the Spurs side of things, I think he'll start because we are supposed to have been offering more mins than Portsmouth gave him. If he doesn't start in this game it's hard to see when he would.

Woolfenden just hasn't looked very solid, though.

He may be tall, but look how much of a mug Kiefer Moore made him look. I don't know if Millwall have someone who's as good at that battering ram forward role as Moore is, but I haven't seen anything that suggests Woolfenden is an answer to an aerial threat.

I hope Sakamoto gets a goal tonight. Feel a bit bad for him rightly or wrongly that he didn't get the finish against Leicester. Would be great if he could score, and it'll be a big confidence boost to have more of our attacking players scoring goals again.

view from Norwich forum:

'Has some obvious ability. Levels dropped after 20 mins and left our left side horribly exposed. Its a very different league so suspect it's going to be down to how well he adjusts.'

'Started well them got a couple.of "championship" tackles on him and he quietened down a bit and didn't track back alot'

'Looked great in possession. Really exciting prospect with some genuine ability on display. I thought he started off doing a decent job defensively but he seemed to drop off as the half wore on. He left Chrisene exposed on a number of occasions and was arguably at fault for allowing the cross for the equaliser to come in with no pressure.'

Plays on the left, so if MVE can keep him quiet early doors Mon night then we may be in business down that side as the game goes on.
I’m surprised to hear he would be bothered by “championship tackles” compared to some of the shit I’ve seen him take from Central American teams when playing for Canada.

Really fancy us to win well tonight, just a gut feeling

If you're walking along the canal to the CBS make sure you take a minder with you, it's gonna be dark. 😂

Cameras? Seems a random thing to ban.
I brought my wife to a game years ago and before the game she was taking pictures of an almost empty stadium. A steward told her she wasn’t allowed to take pictures. Then he said I’m going on a break for 15 minutes, don’t be taking pictures when I get back and gave her a wink.

That's going above and beyond, great service.

Oh wink, my bad ;)

Is it counted as a three-game week if the next game is on Monday?

We haven’t started a game well at home for a while, always seem to have to change things at halftime, come out flying tonight, early goal and we’ll beat these comfortably,

Fancy another win. 2-0.
Would be tempted to start Sakamoto and Wright instead of Esse and Simms, even though it would seem harsh on both to drop out

You'd assume common sense would apply and a laptop in a work bag would be fine as you're obviously not going to sit there streaming the match or working, not least because there's still no fucking wifi.

Do they have any secure storage for stuff like this you can't take in? May be a suggestion for the next supporters meeting if they don't. Assume they must have a cloakroom somewhere for events in the hall.
Have you watched the new series of Redeye? Uh Oh.

Torp Worst game ???
He has played worst than Saturday, did a lot of good work. I remember thinking given his break how "un rusty" he looked.

Train already delayed so I think I’m going to have to risk the laptop in my bag. I do have a secret compartment so it depends if they just look inside or actually scan…..

Team wise, I’d start the same knowing you can swap EMC, Esse, Rudoni, Simms and Torp at 60/70 minutes.

I’ve taken my work laptop with me to midweek games plenty of times over the last few years and never had any problems.
