Dont we have a politics thread for this shit ?
its pretty well known we have a number of members on here who lets just say lean towards the leftside of politics and get quit nasty and shouty at anyone who goes against their views so lets keep this thread forthose who want to discuss our football team and you and anyone else take this over to the politics thread now.
Yeh fuck politics

But let me take a dig at the left first!

Ali Ahmed. Remember that name
view from Norwich forum:

'Has some obvious ability. Levels dropped after 20 mins and left our left side horribly exposed. Its a very different league so suspect it's going to be down to how well he adjusts.'

'Started well them got a couple.of "championship" tackles on him and he quietened down a bit and didn't track back alot'

'Looked great in possession. Really exciting prospect with some genuine ability on display. I thought he started off doing a decent job defensively but he seemed to drop off as the half wore on. He left Chrisene exposed on a number of occasions and was arguably at fault for allowing the cross for the equaliser to come in with no pressure.'

Plays on the left, so if MVE can keep him quiet early doors Mon night then we may be in business down that side as the game goes on.

It would be good to include Esse. A new face in the team hopefully freshens things up and gives the players a boost to show him they have some quality.
The defence is where we need to tighten up. We can't keep being so open especially out wide. Frank has to address that it's been a glaring weakness for months.

I think that may be on Frank's mind as we have been tentatively linked with several left backs lately, allbeit from some dubious sources

The pile on has proved his point to be fair, but this isn't the right place for it.

There's a match today. The off topic exists for a reason and it's annoying that this thread is 9 pages long, and you have to scroll through mostly crap.

I expect us to rotate the team a little bit, but wouldn't be against Esse starting again. Whilst he would be a good weapon to bring off the bench, he had that level of energy going forwards that we have been missing for a while.

Hope Esse starts again. Glad I don't have to decide between Haji and Simms. I'd understand Eccles starting instead of Torp. Please can we score first!

Millwalls form + that 4-0 home battering = a very very tough game tonight.

They are not a high possession team in this league, and will ping us on the transition - something which has arguably been our biggest downfall during the slump.

We are gonna need an answer for that tonight - but sadly think it still means we concede.

2-1 with my sky blue goggles on, but 2-2 if I’m being realistic.

Also random slightly panicked thought; I am going to have my work bag with a laptop in. Am I going to be allowed to bring that in?!

Anyone tried before?

You'd assume common sense would apply and a laptop in a work bag would be fine as you're obviously not going to sit there streaming the match or working, not least because there's still no fucking wifi.

Do they have any secure storage for stuff like this you can't take in? May be a suggestion for the next supporters meeting if they don't. Assume they must have a cloakroom somewhere for events in the hall.

Yup. Think we will 2-1

But a draw wouldn't be end of the world as they are a decent team.

Still despite being a marathon not a sprint winning our home games takes a lot of pressure off the away games

Good. Would take that all day long.

Let's hope Bristol can do us a favour as well. Even if they could draw, if we were to win that would put us 10 points ahead of them. Psychologically would be massive despite the game in hand they have.

Think computer tablet is pretty clear as being a laptop to be honest

To be honest the ignore button works great every time one of them shows their true colours. Its made reading this thread a lot easier

Someone mentioned leaving stuff at the hotel the other week. But I've no idea if you actually can do that.

It's very interesting that during the first part of the season clubs we stuffed actually changed their form after playing us, with Millwall being one of them. I honestly think we have nearly turned the corner and will start picking up our game again. Teams will be tougher in this second half, that's logical, however, since we brought in the two additions we seem mentally stronger. (I think when Sakamoto came on in the second half as he was fresh he was more effective). I go for a 2-0 win. Incidently, I think the going will get tougher for Boro and Ipswich as teams will raise their games against them, so I think we could see a few 'strange' results over the coming weeks.

Cameras? Seems a random thing to ban.

PLEASE - when they are running at us don't automatically retreat to our 18 yard line. Stand your ground and get a tackle in quickly.

Reckon they’re gonna listen to the manager over the fans again but you never know.
I know! But once teams sussed out that we would surrender midfield, they just walk through us.

Saturday's result and second half performance was excellent. We proved during Oct/Nov that we're capable of putting together a great sequence of results once we get on a roll.
I feel strongly that if we can turn in a strong performance and get the win again tonight, it'll be the start of another run that will cement our position.

Big game. Again.

I would like us to start with a similar tempo to the way we started the second half against Leicester
