Watching C Palace v Spurs 2 mid table sides I feel sure we can take points off these when we go up.The only teams we will struggle against are the usual suspects.
My thougfts having watched the premiership this season are out of the 3 who went up Burnley will come back dowm (lack of goals ) puts the pressure on the defence.Instance yesterday not 1 shot on target.
Roll on taking their place.
Enjoy the ride.

I think we may need to change our modus operandi.
Even the mediocre teams are very quick in transition compared to the Championship

Either change, going for a lower block, or get more genuine pace in that back line.

If its the former, we're going to need more genuine pace in our attack.

In summary, we'll need more pace!

When we want to we move the ball quite rapid from defence to attack particularly down the right via MVE and Tatts we can.and on the left the passes from Grimes and Torp over the top set EMC away. The speed in the game is very often not about quick the players move but how quick the ball does.
As for the back line I watch the marxhalling of the back by Thomas and it's brilliant the speed of MVE and Jay most times get us out of trouble from any players coming from deep..
The best player I have ever seen was Bobby Moore no pace but his reading or the game world class.
Enjoy the ride

Arsenal having plenty of the ball but not creating too many chances, Vik went close with a diving header. Villa looking dangerous on the counter.

But the scousers can sing about what they want.

Chanting about disasters should be clamped down on by clubs because it's really ugly. Clubs need to get a grip on and leave this stuff alone.

No one at a Liverpool away game* is going in poverty, the banter is fair game. It's not like there's Forest fans gathering around a Salvation Army soup kitchen doing the chants.

*Probably not even from Liverpool post code in any case.

It is bloody shit crack mind you...

Liverpool is for the most part a terrific City but like every major place in this country has it's bad parts and I do have to laugh at the irony when people from places like Wolverhampton and Leicester sing it to them

I would cringe if we went up and sung it

To be fair a big chunk if not most going to an Everton away game as for this one probably would be Scousers, not that it particularly matters. It's about as funny and original as the 'we can see you holding hands' chants at Brighton fans, come up with some fresh material I say.

So many chants now are just distinctly unoriginal.
