Until a third walked out around 80 minutes. Totally embarrassing.

It reminded me of the Crewe game when all the tourists walked out...

Liam Kitchin is from Yorkshire
He wears an old flat cap
And if you throw a brick at him
He’ll head the f****r back
He heads it to the left
He heads it to the right
And when we win the championship
We’ll sing this song all night
#PUSB
I put that up, pinched it off here!!! Tried to get my lad and his mates to get it going in block 18 but they’re all pussies apparently as I’ve not heard it yet in block 24😢😂

It’s not going to catch on. Maybe change the tune, the words and when it’s sung. Apart from that it’s a vaalliant effort.

Regardless of your opinions on the atmosphere in general, not once have we been outsung by the away fans this season.
True but with several of the opposition teams boycotting and poor visiting crowds so far and future away teams now limited to 2000 expensive tickets, that isn’t that great an achievement in context.

And just like that, a team flying high turned up and sold all their tickets and comfortably outsung us, even with only 2100 of them there.

The denial about the atmosphere being shit this season has to stop. The drummer is shit and our songs are boring this season but so many of our fans aren’t even making an attempt to back the team when needed.

Atmospheres will be awful in the PL at this rate when we’re losing every week and playing at odd times.

You think the atmosphere was poor last night?

I thought it was decent up until the second goal

I must’ve been at a different game.

Oh and for away to get credit for “outsinging” us, they need to make noise whilst not being 2-0 up

I thought the atmosphere was good in the main. You always get quiet spells. Ipswich were loud at the start and then fairly quiet until they scored.

Thought the atmosphere was slightly improved last night, It was the clearing out about 75-80 minutes that bothered me and the Ipswich fans rightly mocked us for it.

You could count on one hand how many times we’ve lost at home this calendar year, and seems a lot can’t even be arsed to clap the lads off. Last night was poor but it was a one off night after a ridiculous home run, we can’t become too entitled to winning every home game.

“Just like the old days, there’s nobody here”

Was a brilliant chant from them in all fairness… and fair comment with all the plastics that have jumped on-board in the last 3 years and refuse to sing.

Please cease this super fan bollocks.

You aren’t special because you sing and shout. Nor are you special because you were there in 2021.

You are no better a fan than anyone else in the ground last night

Always leave early these days… I have an hour drive home and I just can’t be arsed to be stuck in a car park for an hour leading up to the hour drive. I hate myself for doing it and a previous version of me would have took the piss. But football is not as important to me as it once was for some reason.

The thread is about atmosphere, so I’d say singing and shouting is pretty ‘special’ to having a good atmosphere. Voice of reason tosser.

You’re calling people “plastics” because they don’t sing.
I’ve supported that club for over 30 years. I’ve probably sung loudly on about 5 occasions. It’s just not in some people’s nature.
For you to suggest that you’re a better fan because you sing is astonishing arrogance

To echo what others have said, I thought the atmosphere was much improved last night. Despite not having much to cheer about on the pitch, fans generally seemed to keep the broader context in mind, and responded pretty well to going a goal down and kept singing about being top of the league etc. Although Brau is maybe lucky to have his own song, it works so well as a chant (simple, catchy, another banger by the Enemy) I hope he breaks back into the team for that reason if nothing else.

I try never to leave early as I have paid for the whole game and like to see it (unlike the man in the middle who seems to want to make it as short as possible by allowing time wasting) but last night had to leave a minute early as I had to get home quickly to get home to drop off my lad before I went to work, I had four minutes in the house to get ready and eat and still got in late😉

Atmosphere was a lot better. In a way the atmosphere at the start of the second half cost us a bit. We lost our heads and started playing for fouls rather than goals.

To be fair to ELB, he has been there for a long time. 30 years we have stood toe to toe on the terraces.

I’m not questioning his commitment to the club.
I’m criticising his questioning of other people’s commitment to the club.

Whether someone sings or not does not determine if there a proper fan
