He will move back to the Netherlands. Good player but second stints rarely work out, we need to look elsewhere. We need established prem quality players or young up and comings and Hamer is neither.

Not gonna lie, he makes the team worse overall.

Gave the ball away twice in leadup to their goal.

No coincidence our best run of form came when he was out injured.

Apart from some odd moments of magic his passing and possession is absolutely woeful.

He's a renegade who plays to the beat of his own drum.

Time to get rid imho.

O'Hare is a much more vital cog within our team.

Hopefully if we have the chance to sign him we stay miles clear, this love affair thing from our fanbase is embarrassing. We’ve moved on

Bring him home. Could be a bargain if he's playing as bad as they say.

Doesn’t start ahead of Torp grimes or rudoni for me mate, unless he wants to sit on the bench then he’s more than welcome. Also Dan Neil would be a 1000x better signing

I agree, but having Hamer on the bench is a fat better option than Eccles or Allen and he can cover multiple positions, Dan Neil is open to the move but would rather stay in the NE mate, so could see him going to Middlesbrough tbh.

Can only see him going Middlesbrough if Hackney goes mate

A fat better option ... he's definitely fatter than Eccles and Allen

You don't often see chonks like that in the modern game, do you.

It's like proper tufties; men who have gone bald but do not shave what remains off. The Atillio Lombardo types. A thing from a bygone age.

He’s not unfit. At least he wasn’t when he played for us. He always had that stocky build but he covered loads of ground and worked hard on both sides of the ball.

Hamer with 6 months under lampard would be a premier league ready footballer i believe that
It's all about the timing isn't it.If Frank had of been what 3 seasons ago he'd never have left quite possibly but the reality says otherwise, can't turn back the clock.

The owners didn't have the imagination.

If we can get him now for £5-7m I have no doubthe would be an important prem player.
4 goals and 7 assists in a poor sheffield united team in the prem under wilder who hasnt got the best out of him ever .. he would be a good signing under frank

They are good numbers

People have short memories. He was so good for us in our first play off season. 11 goals and 10 assists in 45 games playing as an 8. We got 16 million for him. I don't see anyone in our current midfield fetching those numbers.
He then went to Shef Utd and was their best player in the Prem and once relegated won Player of the Championship in the year that came down with 10 goals and 8 assists mainly played out of position as a left winger.
Could be reproduce that form again in our team would be the question? My money would be on Frank and the coaching staff getting the best out of him.
