For me no, he wasn't offside because the ball was not passed to him, it hit a Preston Defender and deflected into EMC path. 🤔
I think he was in an offside position and as the Preston man did not "deliberately" play the ball it was the correct decision - albeit a touch too slow to decision.

By deliberate, the defender has to have control of the ball

Bristol have sold 1300 and returned just under 800 unsold. No pay on the gate either so could be our lowest attendance for a while

Looks like they are trying to emulate the Baggies with explaining their shit away following is down to the prices

A lot of regular away fans aren't going tomorrow due to the ridiculous pricing..West Brom only took 1500 for the same reason...hope City charge the same when they come here.

The other herbert advocates restricting our allocation at their place to 2k as well like they wanted a bigger allocation when they cant even sell the initial one out 🤪

I'm not a fan of these prices, but why do away fans fail to understand that these are also the prices for pay as you go home supporters and if they charge us that much they will have to charge their pay as you go supporters the same?

Exactly, and none of those listed have good away form. Ipswich and Southampton have 12 points away from 9 and 10 games respectively. In short, we’re in a positive place because after the New Year, we’d have got all the toughest away games out of the way so you’d expect our away form to uptick again. We’ve got to repeat what we did last season where we beat all the teams around us at home.

It’s a rare exception when a team averages 2 ppg away from home. The only teams to do it are Burnley (twice), Norwich and Wolves since the dark days of L2.
By "uptick" I assume that you mean improve. Why are you pretending to be American?

I can never understand the mentality of people who say they arnt going because the ticket price is £5-£8 more than they would pay normally but then think nothing of spending another £50-£60 on shit beer priced at £6-£7 with added supporter tax on it

I think sometimes it’s a red herring. These people wouldn’t go anyway. Mostly.

Didn’t someone say they brought around 1300 2 years ago when the price was £10 cheaper. If Bristol city were top 2 they would have sold out. Like any football team price only becomes important when there is a reason not to go.

That said I still think ours are too high but only marginally. It’s the kids prices I have more issue with as they don’t have a choice. And they are the future. Invest in them.

We are at home… we don’t lose there… and yet this feels a tricky game to predict …. Losing a bit of confidence makes you start questioning the facts.

There is zero reason why this game won’t follow the way of most of Franks previous home games….just keep repeating that line to yourself people!

Don't care how we do it, but we badly need the 3 points as it takes the pressure of having to go to Southampton and needing to get a win there. Win today and draw against Southampton isn't a bad set of results, keeps the points tally ticking over at 2 ppg (we'll ignore the previous 2 games).

Winning home games is a must for us this season. Win the majority and is eases the pressure for away wins

Lets face it, EMC is miles ahead of anyone to win the most offsides in a season...the guy just don't seem to be able to grasp the offside rule

Tightly mark Mehmeti and Twine we should be fine today. Strong midfield but then so have we, if Grimes avoids the lurgy going round!

In the context of where we want to go, it could be argued this is “must win”.

Both for the points tally, but also restoring the momentum.

I am sure the players are still full of confidence, but a win removes any slight doubt or anxiousness amongst players and fans.

If the worst happens we still end the day top, so it isn’t the end of the world. But a big W would be significant.

Rushworth and Grimes are the two you most want to avoid the sickness bug. I hope they are both ok to play.
