Only negative to that call was the question about investment when it comes to the squad, a lot of mentioning about it being small etc…..working fantastic at the moment but we must add in January, all the big clubs in our league will

yeah but he can't really say "yeah we're gonna be spending loads this January" as that'll just bump the price up for any players we ask about

Our Doug is a smart fella, keeps his answers simple and clear. Definitely put us on the right track lets hope his smart business decisions carry on into Jan. I think we need a few more quality additions and we will be ok.

Every interview he has, he always comes across well. Even when it comes to defending unpopular decisions like ticket prices or sacking Robins.

The club appears to be in safe hands and making sound decisions. Hopefully we have a go in the Jan transfer market to secure promotion and hopefully, take the pressure off the 'churn' for next summer.

I also feel from this interview and the Ellis one earlier, that nothing is being taken for granted - The play off defeats I think have helped that attitude
Until we hit 90 points (hopefully with half a dozen games to go) they need to carry on with this attitude

A better resemblance IMHO.

Sacking a legendary manager is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman, once you decide to pull out before she’s satisfied you’d better have something bigger and better to stick in quickly.

Kept getting the dig in about the last few years though. Did seem to still have the hump.

Very humble excellent interview that
Simon Jordan wanted something a bit more flash I reckon
Nothing for granted
Long way to go
Happy with the start
Great stuff
Yeah he was angling for something, what was your aim at the start of season, pertaining to Frank as well in those terms.
Could have been asking about about whether or not investment in January,co investment, and finally seeing if he's serious about going up, well that was my impression?

How do you mean? What has he got to have the hump about?
