Brilliant result. As with Saturday, a very telling performance. We crumble there other years with the press from Pompey, small pitch and difficult atmosphere. We were calm for 94 minutes and probably should have scored more.

Really good to see us being able to make changes and still get a result. Another thing we struggled with previously.

We seem to be winning without too much stress at the minute and look like we have more gears if needed. Just got to keep going and make tough games like that on paper as easy as we can.

The squad will be needed this season and with Wright rested and Tatsu not starting those two could come back in on Saturday. FL has given himself the ideal good problem all managers want, who drops out ....

Rudoni another week at Ryton its going to get interesting if the results keep coming.

I think if you had a fully fit squad to chose from then the defence and midfield picks itself. The attacking players I'd go for:

Wright
BTA Rudoni Saka

You can't drop BTA for anybody right now and of the two I feel Saka has offered more over EMC so far this season so he gets in. Rudoni has that bit of magic that you can't resist playing.

Ok asides from had to send one kid home with his parent because he refused to stop vaping and another kid vomited like the chick from The Exorcist all over the Gettysburg exhibit smh.
What fresh hell are kids doing these days.

The history museum was the highlight field trip of the semester, back in my day.

Commiserations.

Confidence oozing out of a superb Coventry City team …….make no illusion, half time could so easily have been 0 - 4
Great pace , movement but no luck .
Chances that we are making, are frightening .
An excellent display tonight boys & although Asante will take the plaudits, Simms & the team were really at it , from the first whistle……. Can’t wait for Saturday

I thought we were class today. Had we won 3-0, no one would’ve complained too much. Their goal was an annoying error but it was good to see the players so disappointed when conceding a goal. They really wanted that clean sheet!

BTA gets the plaudits for the goals and was unlucky not to score another belter! Simms deserves a big shout out because he took his chance as a starter v well - played a big role in both goals, BTA nicked the first goal!

The atmosphere in the away end was top notch tonight too!

I thought last nights game at Pompey was potentially a banana skin, we don’t have a great record down there and they are a difficult team to play against.

Boy did we pass that test with flying colours. We could have been more clinical and better in certain aspects of the game, but if you’d of said we take 3 points by any score then I’d snapped your hand off for it.

Clean bill of health coming out of the game and some players got some vital rest (Haji, Saka and EMC got subbed with a decent chunk to go) meaning we are flying into Saturday.

Since Rudoni’s last appearance at Lesta we’ve won 5 in a row. When he comes back in the side, which can’t be far off now…crikey. 6 points away at a Millwall side that’s now flying and at Portsmouth who took down Boro there recently and to do both convincingly, it’s seriously something. The more points we build up now, the fewer we need later on.

The commentators yesterday wondered how we’d do against a ‘good’ side. I don’t see a better one currently, and that’s with this team still with visible room to improve. The football is glorious to watch and but for a last minute lapse we’d have 6 clean sheets in a row. November and December are going to test the small squad size, but with everyone off the bench now also performing we have more depth for free.

It’s pretty incredible

We've beaten QPR 7-1, Millwall 4-0, should've beaten Hull and drew against Leicester - all in the top half of the table.

What a ridiculous comment by them.

It's absurd not to back us against any side in this division and come away with 3 points.

We've played Leicester and Millwall away and took 4 points. Not sure what else they want
All the teams we beat are lower because we beat them. Add points on if they beat us and they'd all fly up. It's getting boring hearing we've played no one now, we're 1/4 of the way through the season ffs and the supposed 'someones' are all shite anyway.
