For the Enemy because Gus wont be playing.

Doesn’t want to sour himself before his big return in Jan

If we can make it to the next international break unbeaten then the bookies may as well pay out on us already

Stoke away trickiest fixture.

Others will try and do a Norwich/Blackburn on us-defend and be over physical-especially Pompey, Sheff U & Wrexham.

What they don’t realise is the great physical shape we in under Lampard & like Blackburn found out-they ran out of steam and we didn’t.

I think we need to change our mindset (difficult for Cov fans). None of those teams will want to be playing us at the moment. Let’s go and beat them. There really isn’t any reason that we can’t.

Game 16 Sunderland came off the top IIRC and never got back there again. Can’t see Boro Millwall and Bristol giving the same chase Leeds Burnley and Sheff Utd did though.

Have you changed your opinion after yesterday’s games? I’d say Watford will give them all sorts of problems.

Indeed the first two games for them have been far from easy.
10 men might have shagged them out.
There was a statistic that teams playing after a match against that Swansea side that passed everyone to death, did not usually win their next match.
Lets hope not and their defence play better than they did in the first half against us.

If the next game was midweek, then yes I would agree they would be vulnerable, but a week to recover should be sufficient.

Watford are a formidable team at home and I can see them taking at least a draw against Boro.
