Understood. Can I just clarify this point: is a city that is manufacturing and transportation hub a legitimate military targets? Simple yes or no will suffice.
Yes but the war crime is the destruction of everything to get at the targets. Something Israel is also guilty of ;)

This is good stuff actually. When Hamas builds tunnels underneath the entirety of Gaza (transportation hub), repurposed aid for military use and stores weapons in civilian areas such as schools, residential flats, hospitals and places of worship…

… Can you not see how the blurring between civilian and military targets is a problem for a military force?

To bring it back to Dresden. The military justification was tenuous and in any case, you’d need to accept that to destroy these manufacturing and transportation hubs, civilians would need to die to achieve that.

This is actually a good argument for the collateral damage doctrine…

A hilarious turn of events.

so to make sure I'm keeping up, because parallels can be drawn between the Allied bombing of Dresden and the war in Gaza, Maccabi Tel Aviv fans should be allowed to travel to Villa Park?

Just don't mention the Legia Warsaw fans not being allowed into Villa Park last season, that might confuse the argument

Actually, let’s talk about that because it was related to Legia Warsaw fans clashing with the police before the match. As a result, UEFA then banned them for 5 away matches.

If Tel Aviv fans got to Birmingham, kicked off with police badly then being denied entry is a reasonable response.

Another U-turn for this government? Shock, horror.

Well, no.

"Following this, the Home Office were briefed last week by the UKFPU about the potential issues and options that the Safety Advisory Group (SAG) may take including restrictions on visiting fans."

So they were briefed about potential issues and options. They were not told that away fans would be banned.

The Maccabi fans seem a lovely lot

They are a bunch of cunts, no arguments with that all.

The issue is that the story didn't start there though, and again, with some basic research you can see that the Guardian is only reporting half the story and rewinding the clock back to where it suits, not where is appropriate. It is a disgraceful set of journalism if you want to call it that. No real mention of the large crowds of Muslim people hunting down jews (that is what they called it themselves) or any of the threats and posts online that predated all of this. Then of course the aftermath is that 'Dutch nationals were arrested', which only the simple minded cannot decipher.

Amsterdam is a great city, but it really has some serious integration problems in parts. Birmingham is even worse, and doesn't even have the nice bits either.

Come on @fatso - don't be shy.
I hate to break this to you, but the holocaust happened long before the Jewish nation set out to infiltrate (quite openly) the world of global finance intelligence and politics.
This was done in order to make sure that they were never again to be subject to the horrors inflicted by the Nazis.

I've openly pointed out on here the people behind global banking, and in America the Jewish lobby is one of the most powerful political lobbies there is. Go and research who it was that bailed Trump out when he went bankrupt.

As for intelligence, Mosad is credited with being the world's best intelligence network.

I could go on, but its fair to say the Influence they excert is truelly global and far reaching.

Any chance of engaging in an actual discussion?

Which bits of those links do you disagree with?

Do you admit that you're spouting the same stuff Hitler did?

It’s actually very similar to the same stuff Ken Livingstone spouted in the early 80’s

Before engaging, you would have to go and research what the Jewish people set out to do after WW2 to guarantee their survival.

Unless your prepared to educate yourself on that first, it would be a complete waste of time.

Hitler was pointing the finger of blame for all the German people's woes on the Jews in order to unite his people against them and behind the Nazis, this culminated in "Krystalinacht" the rest as they say is history.

What you are referencing is an outdated and at the time untrue piece of nazi propaganda,
After the war the Jewish people secured their own land (thanks to Britain) and sought to gain global influence to prevent them ever being subject to tyranny again.
This they have done with great success.

Ftao Brighton sky blue, this is not antisemitic, its purely a statement of historic fact.

If I'm not mistaken, you're arguing that because of the Holocaust, which the Nazi's blamed because the Jews were controlling finance and politics causing huge problems for the German population, Jews decided they were going to control banking and politics?

It's a trope that goes back hundreds and hundreds of years.

Yes it's outdated and untrue. Glad we agree on that at least.

So why the fuck are you still spouting it?

Starmer it’s just full of shit. Of course he wants the fans banned, he just comes out and says he doesn’t.

He lies. just like Netanyahu said your leaders say one thing to me but then say the opposite to you.

it’s like the courts thing for the Southport riot, he said he has no control over them but then everyone was being fast tracked quicker than a tramp chasing a bag of chips.

Why would he want them banned?

Are you trying to claim Kier Starmer with his Jewish wife and kids is anti Jewish?

That's a good one.

Because he loves Muslims as they vote for labour.
They don't, did you not follow the voting patterns at the last election? There has been a swing away from Labour in the muslim community due to Starmer being seen as too pro Israel.

In fact one of the seats they lost to a Gaza independent was in Brum so it makes no sense if he wants to appease Muslims at any cost to do something they would hate.
