Yeah, I didn't pick up on that to be honest.

Will have to wait and see how long he's been here.

It just makes it worse, the longer he's been a British citizen.
It says British born of Syrian descent just seen it’s been clarified further. So over 30 years but not born here

It's so worrying. I just did a quick Google search asking about trouble last night, following the attack and the first video that came up, was at a train station and I immediately remembered seeing this exact same footage previously and it was from months ago. Only just posted up, mind. So that makes you think it's new

The second video was of a clash in Sydney, Australia.

I have just found something on the Telegraph site though.

Just feel you really have to look closely these days, just to check the accuracy, the date and that the footage is not fake and is not old footage

What strange times we live in.

I just typed in "trouble last night from pro Palestine protestors" and this is what I got..

The first three results are all old footage, even though just posted up in the last few hours

I am now forever checking dates, just to confirm accuracy.

Right, from what I can see, there were protests about the Gaza, Greta Thunberg flotilla, carrying aid to Gaza, being stopped by Israeli forces, so not quite the celebratory notion of the people being killed in the synagogue.

That protest seemed to take place because of the flotilla incident and not because of the Manchester incident. So. I do feel that, that needs pointing out.

Geez, the times we live in now. So hard to find the truth in a lot of stuff these days. 😥

Hours after the incident there were pro Palestine protests in Manchester. Seriously this country is doomed and it’s the left that have enabled it.

Fucking state of the Mail here, compared to the others:

I picked up on that. Pretty much every other paper is focusing on the tragedy, the incident and the loss and also the bravery of the rabbi. The Mail, just trying to score political points again

Such a scummy paper.

There was something pre-planned at Manchester Piccadilly, not sure if that was a national thing. Global Movement for Gaza i think it was.
there was a pre-planned series of protests around the country related to the flotilla as there are British citizens who have been taken in breach of international law by Israeli forces and despite requests by MPs whose constituents have been taken the government is refusing to acknowledge it, much less actually do anything about it.

Fair play to the Guardian for once though who did actually go for Terrorist rather than Terror in their headline.

Appreciate the Mail is way ott, but the others not calling it what it is, also appears censored and scared. That's not a good place for our MSM.

The Mail, even by my very low expectations for them, are way off there. Just stoking more division which is the last thing we need. Telegraph not covering themselves in glory either.

We see the same on here though, The first concern of many is who has or hasn't made a comment, how quickly they've made it, have they condemned certain groups. A not insignificant number of people seem far more concentrated on that than the horrific acts themselves taking place here and around the world.

I said they have got their flags and hit the streets and it seems celebratory. Fireworks are usually let off in Celebration aren't they?

Whack a Palestine flag on and it's a free pass to do whatever and people seem to fall for it every time. Been the same for a couple of years so it's no wonder something like yesterday happened.

Yeah, it's a defence because we know for a fact if it was some gimps out on the streets with as union jack after something like Finsbury park then you would be all over it.
The insinuation though, not necessarily from yourself, was that there was a link between these protests and the synagogue attack

Did seemed to be painted like the protest was linked to what happened in Manchester

He's not wrong though.

It's people trying to cause more division. That's exactly what they are aiming for.

It's incredibly saddening.

Yeah that lefty Tory government in power for the last 14 years.
Completely agree, torries/labour completely the same now they don’t stand for anything.

All the do is try to appease everyone, they are career politicians who want to keep their job.

This is why Reform will win as people are craving a change.

Yes I'm sure electing the people who treat a criminal who called for mass murder as a hero and a celebrity will really help calm tensions and stop the division.

If the election was now, then yeah, sure. But it's four years away. I honestly don't think they have a cat in hell's chance of getting in.

They will unravel, I'm certain of it

And is this verified? So much fakery about. I wouldn't trust that unfortunately.

We are living in times now where I wouldn't trust anything until it was verified.

How do we know that's not old footage?

Unfortunately Otis, there is, and sorry to point this out, but you believed all the nonsense that was being spread about Charlie Kirk and didn't think twice about posting it.

Whenever there is an attack like this, it is the same patterns. Play it down, say everyone is accountable and that all corners of society are as bad as each other, and then accuse the people upset about such atrocities as trying to cause division.

It isn't calming anything down at this point, as we are well past that. This country has a problem with radical Islam. All that sweeping it under the carpet is achieving is causing more division itself, as people are at breaking point.

I fear it is not going to take much more of this kind of thing, which there will be, before we see widescale disorder.

True on the Kirk thing and I did say I needed to be more careful

The protests though yesterday, seem to be painted as being linked to the synagogue attack and that's just not true.

I would deport them all. I have no idea why anyone needs to move to another country. Just stick to your own.

Pete, it's stated that he came here when he was 5 from Syria, not British born and then got British citizenship in his teens
Yep yep I’ve said that later in the thread
I read something before it was confirmed
Sad he’s been a Britain for 30 years and thought this was an appropriate way to act
Stupid ignorant fucker
