Yeah, I didn't pick up on that to be honest.

Will have to wait and see how long he's been here.

It just makes it worse, the longer he's been a British citizen.
It says British born of Syrian descent just seen it’s been clarified further. So over 30 years but not born here

People have decided to get their Palestine flags out and hit the streets as well and attacking police... After today's events, seems a bit celebratory.
Let's see Starmer and Khan call this out as racist tomorrow morning........

It's so worrying. I just did a quick Google search asking about trouble last night, following the attack and the first video that came up, was at a train station and I immediately remembered seeing this exact same footage previously and it was from months ago. Only just posted up, mind. So that makes you think it's new

The second video was of a clash in Sydney, Australia.

I have just found something on the Telegraph site though.

Just feel you really have to look closely these days, just to check the accuracy, the date and that the footage is not fake and is not old footage

What strange times we live in.

I just typed in "trouble last night from pro Palestine protestors" and this is what I got..

The first three results are all old footage, even though just posted up in the last few hours

I am now forever checking dates, just to confirm accuracy.

Right, from what I can see, there were protests about the Gaza, Greta Thunberg flotilla, carrying aid to Gaza, being stopped by Israeli forces, so not quite the celebratory notion of the people being killed in the synagogue.

That protest seemed to take place because of the flotilla incident and not because of the Manchester incident. So. I do feel that, that needs pointing out.

Geez, the times we live in now. So hard to find the truth in a lot of stuff these days. 😥

Hours after the incident there were pro Palestine protests in Manchester. Seriously this country is doomed and it’s the left that have enabled it.

This was from a "Security Expert". Imagine having that level of accuracy under the pressure of somebody having a bomb.

Huge pressure, that's the difference between Elite people being hired and box ticky exercises, it saves/costs lives.

Fucking state of the Mail here, compared to the others:

I picked up on that. Pretty much every other paper is focusing on the tragedy, the incident and the loss and also the bravery of the rabbi. The Mail, just trying to score political points again

Such a scummy paper.

People commit terrorist acts to stir sh*t up and turn folks against each other. Don't do it. Be better than that.

There was something pre-planned at Manchester Piccadilly, not sure if that was a national thing. Global Movement for Gaza i think it was.
there was a pre-planned series of protests around the country related to the flotilla as there are British citizens who have been taken in breach of international law by Israeli forces and despite requests by MPs whose constituents have been taken the government is refusing to acknowledge it, much less actually do anything about it.

Weird the levels of defence if somebody whacks a Palestine flag on. 😂

The news papers fault for reporting it though.

If they were union jacks you would have people writing essays about all of their friends scared to leave the house.

Fair play to the Guardian for once though who did actually go for Terrorist rather than Terror in their headline.

Appreciate the Mail is way ott, but the others not calling it what it is, also appears censored and scared. That's not a good place for our MSM.

Not really defence is it. The first mention was form yourself posting that people had decided to get their palensine flags out and celebrate a terror attack on a synagogue which clearly isn't the case.

The Mail, even by my very low expectations for them, are way off there. Just stoking more division which is the last thing we need. Telegraph not covering themselves in glory either.

We see the same on here though, The first concern of many is who has or hasn't made a comment, how quickly they've made it, have they condemned certain groups. A not insignificant number of people seem far more concentrated on that than the horrific acts themselves taking place here and around the world.

I said they have got their flags and hit the streets and it seems celebratory. Fireworks are usually let off in Celebration aren't they?

Like I said, whack a Palestine flag on and it's a free pass to do whatever and people seem to fall for it every time. Been the same for a couple of years so it's no wonder something like yesterday happened.

Yeah, it's a defence because we know for a fact if it was some pissed up gimp with a skinhead out on the streets with as union jack after something like Finsbury park then you would be all over it.
