After rudoni he's player of season

But the chavs will just ignore it and soon as he gets megged by a winger it will be cries of he's shit etc
Rudoni has been far from POTS so far! Barely been in a few games. Torp has had a far better start to this season imo. EMC got the best attacking stats in the league too?

But the chavs will ignore all that

Probably the most improved player, looked very confident yesterday. And at last someone has taught him to get his body in the right position when the opposition have the ball. He is on the half turn not sq which allows his reaction to be that little bit quicker to cover the pass to put himself in a better position to defend 1v1.

Newsflash. Dasilva and Van Ewijk have good games when there is zero defending to be done. Also, a clean sheet, when our back 4 get pragmatic and just clear the ball. Also created chances and a goal by going long. Playing out from the back can work. Going long can work. Play what’s in front of you.

Grimes has been our best player by a mile.

Dasilva wont have many games like Leicester, Prem level LBs struggled against Fatawu so he was always gonna have a tough game as he showed on Saturday he is a good Championship fullback when playing in an attacking or possession based side

Nothing to do with Fatawu. He struggles if we have to defend full stop. Even a totally toothless Brum got in behind him 6-7 times. And as most, including me acknowledge, that was one of his better games.

So telling that people rather focus on who is player of season other than rudoni rather than focus on fact JDS is clearly in the conversation 😂😂

You days after Rudoni he is player of the season

Rudoni isn’t let alone Dasilva after the first few games. Grimes, Torp and Wright have all made far greater contributions so far.

Well only in yours
Sounds like a lot of posters rating hint his year tbh

I'm fine with people having different pots. I prob only said rudoni cos he's out best player imo but understand the argument for others and won't contest

But JDS has been great this season and long may it continue

Dasilva did at least three good tackles or dispossessed their winger yesterday. The defending he had to do he did very well.

What on earth are you talking about? Dasilva was excellent yesterday, had their winger in his pocket all game

Isn’t this the guy that says MvE can’t defend?

Don’t know if you saw the game or not. They were in behind him multiple times. Did nothing with it so it didn’t impact us. Sheaf for Torp. Not particularly controversial even though it was talking about one instance for a particular game.

I was at the game and Dasilva made numerous well timed challenges, interceptions and was positionally sound. Can you point out specifically when they got in behind him? You’re making yourself look very silly, yet again

Also the Sheaf comment you didn’t mean that at all. Do you want me to find the exact quote again?

It’s a very good point. We’re unbeaten. You’d never know it reading about today. If we can sign a good CH, bed in Brau and KKH and get Sheaf back in for Torp we’ll be fine. Torp can still have a huge impact but he’s not a 90 min performer at the moment.

Seems harsh not to give Dasilva credit for his performance yesterday. OK, Birmingham weren't exactly world beaters, but he still had to do his job and I thought he was absolutely solid.

Every team will have possession of the ball down the wings especially when their fullbacks join in. Against Brum, don't remember JDS losing a one against one. Duh, we play a high line with our full backs playing like wingbacks pushing up the pitch. Same happens when Bidders plays or the odd occasion Brau played there in pre-season. Not a JDS problem, it is our system. We have lost two games at home since Lamps came in and one was the goalkeeper gift to Burnley. JDS played quite a few of those games.
