His best game in a CCFC shirt by a country mile on Saturday and desperately unlucky not to get MOTM in my opinion

After Portsmouth away last season I am on the record in saying that I didn't want to see him or Collins play for us again, so full credit - Since then he has gradually kept getting better and better to the point where I am fully comfortable with him being in the team every week

An unlikely but more than welcome redemption arc.

Jay Da Silva, has been good enough to push Bidwell out. And has played well since Lampards arrival.

They key to him playing well has been that we have been on front foot most of the time. Which plays to his strengths. He will struggle and yes most of our team will too when up against better teams who have us pinned back. Just like he did a little against Leicester.

Overall it's ridiculous to suggest he's not Top 6 at this level..when we clearly are.
Exactly my point. We have a defender who is fine as long as he doesn’t need to defend.

Apart from the fact he won every tackle and interception on Saturday, which is defending
He’s had one decent game against the most toothless opposition your ever likely to play. I hope he carries on and becomes the second incarnation of Maldini. I’d be delighted. We’ll see

I’m still waiting for the examples of when they got in behind him 6 or 7 times?

He didn't play that bad at Leicester, he was up against a very good player who was playing regularly in the Prem last season.
Also Fatawu is one of the quickest players I have seen. His pace will cause most full backs a problem

I am a massive fan of JDS, as he is such a good footballer. We tie teams in knots with our quick one touch, two touch passing down the wings.
Last season he struggled away against big physical sides. Cue Millwall who fit that description perfectly.
Lamps played Bidders in those games for what at the time seemed obvious reasons. Since his injury inflicted by that terrible tackle against Sheff Wed (think the perpetrator plays for Southampton), Bidders has not recovered his best form.
Will be a big test for JDS.

I’m afraid you’ll be waiting a long time. I was at the game, I saw what I saw. I’m not going to recount individual plays just because you’ve said i should.
I was there and I saw what I saw too. I didn't see them get behind him 6 or 7 times so I want to know when they were. Trust me, I've very much been a critic of Dasilva and him being caught out by the long ball into space behind him. If it happened I would have taken note.
