The fact I work my arse off all week and have fuck all to show for it?

The fact im having my pants pulled down everytime I fill my car up?

The fact that im paying more for gas and electric every year for no reason?

The fact when I had an SVT episode of 200BPM out of nowhere I was told there was no ambulances?

The fact that the £800 a month tax i pay is going towards housing undocumented men we know nothing about to be put up in luxury hotels?

The fact that if I need a doctor I cant get one?

The fact that my weekly shop price is ballooning month on month for the same product?

The fact that if I need a copper because ive been mugged or burgled I cant get one but there will be one there if I post an inflammatory tweet?

The fact that the justice system is in absolute disarray?

I could go on if you like?
And you blame this government ok then

So basically, the choice is to vote for a party that has no serious policies (in your opinion) or..... vote for a party who has serious policies (in your opinion) who will just completely ignore all those policies and promises and do what the fuck they want anyway! And force us with digital ID to boot, in some weird way thinking that'll stop the boats coming!

Rock and a hard place where im sitting. And the way I see it, Labour and Conservatives have had long enough and fucked up enough to be given any more opportunities. They're both a guilty as one another for the mess we're currently in! Its time for a change, and of all the other options available, Reform are really the only plausible option. Even if that option is just to give the 2 main parties a wake up call and a huge kick up the arse to sort their shit out!

How are the tories and Labour both equally guilty?

Unbelievable!

I don’t get the argument for digital id and I am uncomfortable with the winter fuel and two child benefit cap and the approach to Israel but the fundamental issues with our country are on austerity and lack of investment and we’re having our chains yanked into thinking it’s all the fault of immigration

Anyone who thinks reform or the tories were going to save our industry needs to wake up

At least the football keeps us sane

It seems also the notion right wing are the opposition

Lib Dem’s have today opposed it
Greens oppose it
Ironically Badenoch originally didn’t but now does
Liberty opposes it
SNP oppose it
Corbyn and Burgon too.

I'm not exactly a fan of Starmer and his inability to read the room is astonishing. But having said that the amount of shit he is getting for not fixing 14 years of damage in little over a year is insane.

Fair enough if you dislike him over a single issue, his inaction over Israel being a big one of course, but where has this idea everything could be quickly sorted come from. In a lot of areas, such as immigration, we're seeing action taken but things take time.

Having said that I'm amazed they didn't have a whole pile of quick and easy wins ready to go. Instead they seem to pick things like WFA which have made them deeply unpopular.

Also for most of these things you already need ID for?

You need to move to a properly authoritarian country mate, ever considered North Korea, I hear it's lovely in Springtime.

Interestingly this is pretty much the same thing you hear in many countries. Was listening to a Canadian podcast and they were bemoaning that wait times in A&E are up, admittedly nowhere near ours but still up from what they are used to.

There's a worldwide issue that we're reliant on an economic system that has really reached its natural conclusion and nobody knowns where to go from here. Neoliberalism has done its job and the money has flowed to the top to the point there's not really much more left that can be taken from people lower down the chain.

More of the same isn't going to fix things and nobody is suggesting anything that in the grand scheme of things is really that different.

Good post and bang on.

Have they fucked up on some things? Yes plenty. Have they wasted a lot of political capital they had in the bank? Yes absolutely. But expecting them to have fixed everything a year in us just ridiculous.

Saw a story the other day of a young girl who broke herwg playing football and had to wait 5 hours lying on a cold wet pitch for an ambulance. There were people in the comments blaming the government. Absolute fucking idiots.

Just shows what happens when people get all their news from social media and the algorithms just feed them the same shit over and over.

They cant fix everything in a year, that's very true.
But showing that they are moving in the right direction would be a start.

Let's be honest, they've had 14 years to come up with some kind of plan, and no one expected things to get worse!

Think you need to distinguish between paying more tax for it to be passed to people who donate to political parties and paying more tax for working services.

I don't particularly want to pay more tax but if I was confident it was being put to good use and having an impact I wouldn't really object. I would have zero confidence that would happen if Reeves announced tomorrow that taxes were going up.

I do
Nothing much has changed
I know I’m supposed to think everything is much worse and to get really angry but what specifically

Unemployment
Job vacancies
Borrowing
Taxation
Inflation
Economic growth

Well where do you want to start?

How about (just for starters) our pensioners losing their winter fuel allowance because apparently its no longer affordable, but then the government announces a huge increase in the defence budget.

Are bombs and bullets more important than keeping our elderly grandma's warm over winter?
What does that say about our society?

I could go on and on, but ive not wish to bore any fucker more than usual.

Surely you can see the difference with things like ni etc and the strain on business?
Not in the tax office and friends haven’t not been able to get jobs

People were blaming Labour for everything about a month after the election. Ok there’s a lot of bots and such stirring it up but so many angry people lashing out too.

I see Reform are polling to win the next election. Yes, I know it’s a long way away but regardless what issues people are angry about I don’t know how anyone can put their faith in that despicable cretin. A man who has clearly been sponsored for decades to cause as much disruption and sow as much resentment as he can.
